I understand that this thread is half trolling. Correct me if I'm wrong. But NMS is a "Space exploration sim". There isn't any land combat as far as I know. So 2 totally diff games! I tip my hat off to you with such a successful troll *tips hat*

Well yeah, the trailer basically gave people the meat of what we all have been wanting to do forever in a game: jump into a spaceship and fly into space seamlessly - no loading screens. Then shooting through that asteroid? Yes please, I'll buy this. Unless I missed some confirmation, I don't think seamless travel is a thing in Destiny. Apparently the space ship is just a fast-travel option to get between worlds. Which is hugely disappointing because that is the one feature that I would imagine a game like Destiny would need to feel truly open world. In that regard, yes No Man's Sky is doing something that Destiny is not. But that is it really
Star Citizen >>>>> everything else
10 RespuestasEditado por Rubio Audiotre: 12/8/2013 8:50:06 PMI hate to say it but you are correct. As much as i love bungie, my expectations for destiny aren't truly high, in fact realistic. Usually when theres a game i like , my hype level is off the charts, i imagine all these cool things that the game could have and i watch the videos thousands of times. But Destiny for some reason i just don't feel majorly hyped. Not to say that i'm not interested in Destiny but i just felt like i wish there was more to it, then what we've been seeing. No mans sky looks amazing and sounds increadibly ambitious , procedural generated worlds, massive exploration and space travel(which is what i wanted in Destiny but unfortunatly not in it, in the same sense or the scale that No mans sky will be at that includes the size of the worlds). Although I will say destiny's story and universe sounds more appealing and will be the focal point in destiny. But we know to little about No mans sky and the game will most likely have a sci-fi world, full of character and enemys to deal with. Nonethless from the footage of No man skys first trailer this completly Hyped me up far more, than what i've seen from Destiny. Here hoping Bungie can show some intriguing footage rather than loot streams or bigger guns, which has been somewhat boring and killing my hype as of late.
