You know you can say whatever you want about Microsoft and I know they put a lot of stress on Bungie to release Halo 2 but at least they kept Bungie from having Huge delays like this from happening. Bungie have been working on this game supposedly for multiple years now. Enoughs enough

You must not know much about programming...
-
I do...
-
Then you would understand that if it's not going to be ready then it's not going to be ready. And releasing a brand new franchise filled with bugs and glitches is not wise to do.
-
Yet halo 2 had bugs and people loved it. There isn't going to be many bugs with 3+ years and a huge team of developers.
-
Halo 2 had no where near the competition that Destiny is going to have. How many other AAA shooters did Halo 2 have to compete against? I don't like the delay either but I think it's a necessary evil at this point
-
I'd rather have bungie take their time and make a quality game then rush it and turn it into a bad game that has tech issues or even story issues
-
More time does not mean it will be better quality (or at least 'good' quality). I hate how people make that assumption.
-
So what is it you think they do with that extra time?
-
I have no doubt they are working on them game.. but taking more time to work on a game does't mean it's going to be a good game. Just look at Colonial Marines
-
Fair enough, but the game's not going to get worse in that extra time. I'll throw my lot in with Bungie on this one. Shit happens, but I'll still be around when the game finally does come out.
-
As I keep saying, Destiny hasn't impressed me yet like Bungie has been able to do in its past games. I hope this extra time gives them the time they need to do this- but for now, I remain sceptical and see delays as being caused by "set backs", rather than "QA".
-
I hear what you're saying. Myself, I wasn't fan of Halo; like at all. I Just didn't get into it, but I am incredibly stoked for Destiny. The very definition of 'to each their own'. I guess when the bullet hits the bone, we just won't know until it drops. In the summer. :/
-
And I hope it'll be great.

Enough is enough, my stinky asshole! Understand, Bungie will release the game when they damn well it is ready. PLUS! In those years they've been working on other games too. Reach and ODST. You try making 11 pancakes while hard boiling 9 eggs and stir-frying chicken for some fajitas! Its a little difficult, and considering the eggs are going to be finished last, why not turn down the flame on the eggs until everything else is done? That way you don't burn down your entire house and make a mockery of yourself.

The last game they made was in 2010 that's 3 years ago. Bungie said they have been working on Destiny even before ODST which is why there are Easter eggs about it in it. There needs to be a middle ground. You can't just keep delaying the game it will never be perfect
-
Destiny is a BIG game it's not like halo, it's an open world which takes a longer amount of time
-
It not as big as you think and Bungie has a hide Studio and its taking longer for them to make Destiny than a real open world game like skyrim
