I like the strong flavor (and usually higher alcohol %) of an IPA. There's a local brew that's one of the best I've ever had.

I've always wanted to try it out of curiosity but, I feel as though it would be a waste if I ended up just chucking it like most everyone else I know who's had it before — then again, I'll never know if I don't.

Well they tend to have a bitter and very hoppy taste. I can understand why a lot of people don't like it.
