A Letter to White Knights
Dear all White Knights,
I'm going to be honest here. You are helpful and great at making sure girls don't have to defend themselves but it's not necessary.
Wouldn't you find it insulting if someone thought you couldn't fight your own battles so they step in and patronizingly assure you everything will be ok as they rebuke the other guy?
I mean at most it's just three people in the argument and it makes a scene.
Not to mention that it makes people question your motives. Granted, guys do naturally want to protect girls... But like on the Internet?
Anyway I just want to finish off with a thank you. You're kindness is always welcome but the next time you think of joining a fight because one of the members is a girl, don't.

3 RespuestasI can see where you're coming from but some guys like to stand up for girls though. I'm one of those guys who does. If you've ever been on playstation home you'll know how ignorant some guys can be to female players. A couple of times I've jumped to the rescue and they've been very grateful. I play most days with these people I've helped across various games and without helping them and being a white knight I would've lost out on hours of fun :)

2 RespuestasAlmost every male on this site, whether a friend or a poster or not, will get called a white knight for sticking up for a female user. I think that is dumb. I think it is rare that their motives for intervening are purely based off of whether or not the posters bits dangle.
