So, I have seen a lot of big claims being thrown around in this forum. "Destiny will be teh best game evur", "Destiny will pwn all other FPS's", "I can't wait till I hit puberty". So, from this I can gather that, for some reason, this forum REALLY likes the look of Infinity Wards new sci fi fps, Destiny. The question is, in my mind, will it really be that good of sci fi shooter. Yes, you heard me. The thing is, I will admit that as of now Destiny looks like a solid 7.53/10. I mean, the lighting look crisps, the trading system is pretty neat, and the graphics are very eye catching... forerunner architecture has never looked better. Yet, for me at least, it seems to be missing something. That sci fi spark that really separates a mediocre sci fi game from a great one. Take Blade Runner for instance... that game dripped atmosphere. You felt as if you were there, soaking up the neon and rain. Yet Destiny just looks bland. I just hope Bungie dont make the mistakes they did in Aliens Colonial Marines. I mean, they really dropped the ball on that one. Sadly, it looks like Destiny might end up the same. TL;DR: Destiny lacks atmosphere and may be a disappointment.
