I love how you don't have enough balls to tell your parents who you truly are.

You're the one always saying that gay kids should keep it to themselves before they move out, asshole.
-
Never said that. What I said was, If your parents don't accept you, You should just move out.
-
I'm in a situation where I don't want to tell my parents. How the -blam!- am I a pussy for that?
-
Because you're hiding your real self from your parents. Pretty lame to me. Most likely, They probably already know you're gay. Most parents do.
-
Dude, stop being a -blam!-ing ass hole. You don't understand the situation there fore can not have a legitimate opinion on it. You prick.
-
Actually, I have a pretty good idea of the situation. My brother is gay and I was the only person he came out too. He always had a pretty shitty relationship with my parents because he felt he couldn't tell my parents he was gay. I convinced him, and his life was greatly improved. Also, thanks for the name calling. I remember when I was in 8th grade. Little boy.
-
You really have no idea what my situation is, so stop acting like you know what you're talking about.
-
His brother is gay so he must know
-
-
Then why don't you explain your situation to me? Because I guarantee, its not that bad.
-
Because why would I? You're honestly the last person on this site I would ask for advice.
-
Thats unfortunate. I mean, I have much more life experience than most people here. Theres only a few older members on this site.
-
But you aren't compassionate and that means a lot more than life experience in many cases.
-
I'm a father. I'm absoutley compassionate.
-
Not judging by you calling me a pussy for not being out.
-
I'm just saying. You should let your parents know the real you. If you don't, you'll never be able to have a healthy adult relationship with them.
-
I will tell them when I need to. Probably when I get into a relationship.
-
It's his choice. In most cases, it's smart to keep it to yourself until you're comfortable coming out, mostly because a lot of people will face negative consequences from their family. Gay children are kicked out of their house, abused, and cut off from the family all the time. No need to go down that path if you don't have to.

Editado por Verbatim: 8/30/2013 8:04:48 PMI don't see the problem. If my parents revealed themselves to be execrable piles of excrement, then I wouldn't WANT to be in their custody, now would I?
It's his choice.
I like how you say that 1. as if he doesn't know that. 2. as if it makes him any less of a pussy.
-
It doesn't make him a pussy because he's making the smart choice. I doubt he has the means to support himself, or he's too young to, if he's living at home. I assume he doesn't have much of a choice than to keep his head down and suck it up until he can get out.
-
Because I'm 16, and I would be unable to easily live on my own, if at all. And how the -blam!- am I a pussy for feeling uncomfortable telling them? I'm not worried about being kicked out, just about how they would see me after.
