What is Security?

What is Security? The common misconception is that it is Safety. When, in reality, Security is to be bound to a spot, and kept from moving. To be secured. Security is the opposite of Freedom. However, Security is an easy means of achieving Safety. What is secure, is generally also safe. What if instead of addressing Security, We addressed Safety directly? Imagine, if you will, Two circles. A large circle, with a smaller one inside it. Inside of the Small circle, is Security, and by extension, Safety, Outside of the small circle, inside the large one, Almost everyone starts out.. The goal of the government is to keep everyone safe. So what do they do? They put everyone in the small circle, Where they can keep an eye on them. Why was this small circle originally built? To separate people who needed to be watched from people who didn't. It is a prison. Somewhere along the way, the government decided everyone needed to be watched. Somewhere along the way, they decided you neededthem, instead of vice-versa. What if, instead of building walls, to keep people in, We built gates to let people out? Out of the prison, Where you can be free. Where there's room to grow. Where there's room to prosper. What comes after being put in the smaller circle? Being staked to the ground, so they know where we are at all times? If we learned anything from history, We know what happens after the stake. The Fire. Can we stop society before it reaches the stake, and the fire? Can we sit down together, And agree to build a gate? Can we be safe, without securing ourselves to the ground? Do you want Security?
