Is there a specific story or setting you've always wanted to experience in a video game? I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I've gotta say 343's Halo takes the top spot for me. I just love the idea of being part of a cosmic game of gods and demons fighting each other. I can't wait to see how the player gets to disrupt the Precursor/Forerunner plans in the future as well. Mass Effect is definitely another one- the sociopolitical conflicts brought up by the first game in particular were really interesting, and the Reaper/Prothean lore suggesting that we're "the cycle to break it all" was awesome. Oh yeah, and I could go on for days about Metal Gear and the original Dino Crisis. How about you guys? [b]Hypotheticals are definitely allowed. Indeed, they're pretty much the point of the thread.[/b]
