Which gaming network is superior, and why?
If you vote, it'd be nice to say your opinion. What info I have so far is:
XBL: Silver - Can't play online at all
Gold - Free games every month (2)
- Online Play
PSN - no online play (F2P games able to play online)
PS+ - Online Play
- Free games (More than XBL)
Tell me if I'm missing anything.

Literally every other topic that compares one thing to another, people use the words "better than" or "worse than". Only when people talk about PSN and XBL do people start using "inferior" and "superior". Its like some kind of hipster trend on here lol. And I'd say this gen Xbox Live is better, and I'd also say next gen they're equal. Why? Because PSN is finally putting a pay wall up to increase revenue. In the first 2 or 3 years PSN will become way better with the increased revenue Sony will receive, or at least in theory it should.

Take a look at the worldwide Azure datacentre and Content Delivery Network (CDN) development in recent years and the immediate launch future too. Impressive is an understatement. IMO, it is the premier gaming network and your poll is suspiciously missing next generation XBL-X1.

I think all three come there positives and negatives so one can't be superior over the other. However, Gold is the best as of now. Hopefully PSN will catch up and it can even out.

4 RespuestasDepends what you talking about. As far as service goes, Live blow PSN out of the water. You can't deny that. But for value, PS+ is better, for free games. Steam wins all, so im excluding them. I'm interested to see if Live will continue to give away free games after the X1 launch. And what will the PS+ do too. Since the new consoles are a new architecture of game, and like the PC, i'm interested to see how games will be able to be given away, since the games created for this gen are created different than the new gen.

8 RespuestasI don't even know why you made this topic. Steam is better than all of them easily. Oh, and Xbox Live Gold giving out 2 free games a month ends when the XB1 releases, so you should probably remove that. Unless of course you are speaking in current terms rather than next-gen, in which case, PSN has free online play.
