Okay, its apparent were talking about a Halo v.s. Crysis scenario, right?
Out of all these sci-fi compare-threads, "Didact v.s. Starkiller" would be the only one I've seen in which Halo would win. Just face it guys, out of all these sci-fi universes we have that have a supersoldier in it, Halo never wins. Halo is the most realistic I've seen yet, all others can seem either NEVER possible or too OP. Whereas the "Halo-verse" shows mankind's slow progression tward a space-fearing species with no help from an alien species.
TL;DR - Halo is UP, other sci-fi's win : (

I can't imagine the Didact beating Starkiller. The Didact got killed by guy who doesn't even have telekinesis, for cryin' out loud! Any advantages the Didact would have would be rendered moot by his incompetence. /jokepost

Halo is only underpowered until you get to the forerunners and precursors. Then, they stomp on most other sci-fi things, but still aren't quite in the big leagues.
-
Mass Effect is incredibly underpowered compared to Halo. Halo's not too bad, and it actually gets to mid tier when you bring in the ancient races.
Mass Effect is incredibly underpowered compared to Halo.

underpowered
Ha...hAHA...no. ME tech and ships would wreck any UNSC vessel. Though the Covenant and Forerunners would possibly pose a threat.

Anything but the UNSC absolutely and -blam!-s up Mass Effect, and even the UNSC wouldn't have too much trouble dealing with them. Covenant completely -blam!- everyone and for the Forerunners it's even easier and not even a challenge. And this is coming from someone who loves both series just about equally. Halo has far superior technology to that of the Mass Effect universe/series.

Dude. You don't even know what you're in for.
