Allow me to give a little more insight.
A person posted a thread simply stating that he is not excited for Destiny. This was met with tons of hostile replies, most of them telling OP to leave and some even telling OP to kill himself, as pictured.

Why go to a place full of people who [i]are [/i]excited for this game, and spout you don't? Of course you'll be met with hostility, you're basically kicking a hornets nest. I'm going to mute you but not because I disagree with you but because I am really tired of seeing pointless threads. I've been on here for maybe a week and half of my first page stays muted. I find this to be sad and I truly hope the people I meet in game are better. Part of being an adult is being able to get over things and just because you can hide behind the walls of your PC doesn't mean you should be rude. I think we would all have a better experience this way.

If somebody is not a fan of a developer's content, why else would they go to their forums other than to just be a troll? Now I'm not saying you are one, but I don't see a point to being a member of something I don't like. It's like going to a car dealership and complaining that everyone there tries to sell you a car.
