BF4 and Microsoft
So what do you guys think of this? I think maybe Microsoft gave them a good amount of money.

1 RespuestaDoesn't matter. If I get the game, I probably won't get the DLC. I don't want to pay $10 for 4 new maps that should be free. DLC is usually a rip-off... Expansions however, that's some good stuff.

Well at least they're not doing timed exclusives for all the DLC releases like BF3 on PS3. That blew, especially because both PC and 360 have more players for that game.

I think Microsoft payed a pretty penny to get EA to allow Second Assault DLC first on Xbox One. Why? I don't really understand, I know there are fools that will invest all of their money into something based on one little fact, and I guess Microsoft thought enough people would herpaderp over BF4 Second Assault DLC first on their platform. If Microsoft has the money to do those kinds of things, more power to them. If people actually buy the Xbox One because of that fact, I facepalm.

BF3 on PS3 had timed exclusivity so may make sense to try the other side for the next game

1 RespuestaWell, Microsoft will have to give DLC priority on their platform to a lot more than one franchise if they hope to get anywhere with that "feature." Maybe I'm weird, but getting DLC a week or two ahead of other platforms has never been a reason to invest in one platform over another, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't understand timed exclusivity. It's not exactly a game changer, as it will eventually be going to other platforms. It's the equivalent of paying millions to have the first post on a facebook status.

EA and DICE are smart, as they give exclusive content to both consoles.... And PC.
