"Why did Zimmerman follow them"
Why didn't Trayvon go home? He had 4 minutes between running and the beginning of the conflict.

He was heading home. He was followed by someone in a car and then the guy got out of his car and chased him down on foot. Not to mention Trayvon doesn't have a duty to flee in the first place. If some guy tries to illegally detain you, you're totally within your rights to fight back. If someone did try to lay hands on me, I sure as hell would try to knock them the hell out before getting up off them.
-
No evidence supports that, it actually negates it. Also, you honestly think zimmerman would have a chance in hell to chase down a young, fit male? Trayvon had 4 minutes to go 200 feet in order to get home. I don't know about you, but I can easily walk a quarter of a mile in that time. It is obvious Trayvon confronted Zimmerman.
-
Who said he tried to illegally detain him? All he did was follow him, and because the operator said "Which way is he running" which could have been interpreted as "Find out where he's running to" and the operator is fully aware that how that mistake was made.
-
Uh, the operator told him they didn't need Zimmerman to follow. So no.
-
I take it you've not been following the case at all right? Because the one of the operators on the stand as a witness stated exactly what I just said.
-
The transcripts are out there though. As bad as the the operator might FEEL or what he meant to say, what he said matters.
-
Yes what he said matters, and what he said was interpreted as "Found out where he's running" by Zimmerman.
-
He told Zimmerman they didn't need him to follow him.
-
He also asked which way he ran to, and Zimmerman immediately went and ran out. What you said he said, he said at a different time.

http://www.documentcloud.org/documents/326700-full-transcript-zimmerman.html Read it and stop arguing with me.
-
What's your point if he followed him, how does that even matter in the slightest.
-
>I don't know the address Zimmerman has also stated he was looking for the address when Trayvon cut back around and attacked him
-
WHY THE **** ARE YOU STILL ARGUING WITH ME? The transcript just slammed your argument down. He told him afterward not to follow him. Like, jesus dude. I don't want to call you an idiot, because you've made some intelligent posts before, but really dude, stop.
-
Did you like not read my point? You said he was following him. Zimmerman said he wasn't following him at all, he was looking for the address. umad?
-
>Are you following him? >Yeah. >Ok, we don't need you to do that.
U trollin?
-
No but you must be. What the operator said to him doesn't matter at all. They have no legal authority and you don't have to listen to them.
-
What the operator said to him doesn't matter at all. They have no legal authority and you don't have to listen to them
You have just stated a fact that contradicts his theory and scared him back behind his mommy. You're so cruel. jk
-
Are you? I've clearly stated that Zimmerman claimed he wasn't following him, instead looking for a street name.
-
I was watching some news program (Can't for the life of me remember which). But they were actually talking about this, and put it in this perspective. Teenager is walking home and is being followed by an older man in a truck at night. Teenager doesn't feel comfortable going right home because a younger relative is there, or something like that. Thus, goes between buildings to try and lose Zimmerman. When that fails and the he gets out of a truck, confrontation starts.
