And oh my god this game is a mess, and it's so clunky too and it takes forever to get going.
AC2 was much better.

AC2 was great, though I like the style of the first the most. I can remember thinking that'd I'd be a dedicated Assassin's Creed fan by the end of the second one, but after that it just felt like it was going downhill. I played Brotherhood and wasn't impressed. Other than adding multiplayer, which I didn't really care for, and adding a "call in assassins" mechanic, it felt like the same exact game. Also, I thought the puzzles and story just got worse. The cryptic stuff in AC2 was interesting, and my friend and I enjoyed solving them, including the hidden stuff in them like the freemason cipher for example. The ones in Brotherhood...meh. Then Revelations came. I just thought to myself "oh c'mon." The fun part, I thought, of Assassin's Creed would be playing in different eras. When AC3 came out I was glad that they were finally doing a different era, but by this time there had been just too many AC games for me to want it. Not only would I be lost in the story, but it just seems like they're cash grabbing now. Plus, I heard it sucked. AC4 looks interesting. I most likely won't get it, but it at least seems like the best one since AC2.

ACIII was horrendous. ACI is still my favorite, by far.

Your just now realizing this? I remember 5 minutes into the game got stuck in a bush... Didn't let me out. Had to reset. Its like they released an unfinished game.

The game had its good and bad moments for me. By the end of the game, I thought I'd had a good experience with it.

5 RespuestasThe gameplay was improved in some ways, and degraded in other ways. Motion is more fluid, but the enemy difficulty scaling is clearly broken (especially in the DLC). The visuals also looked like a downgrade for the actual environments (though this might be because the colonies weren't as impressive looking as something like Rome), but character models are much better. The story was very "meh".
-
Yeah... I was disappointed with the game.
-
Indeed. Though I quite enjoyed the opening parts and Connor's introduction. The rest is a bit shat. Totally put me off buying ACIV at launch.

2 Respuestashow was revealations and brotherhood?
-
if your new to the story you will be confused
-
The beginning is just shot in your face to make new players familiar with the mechanics. Once your about a third of the way through, it's much more enjoyable. Trust me, I felt the same as you.
-
lol, clunky? It's leaps and bounds more fluid than Assassin's Creed 2.
-
The series started going downhill after Brotherhood for me, that's when i lost interest.

Didn't like it. Too easy and weird... Completed the whole game without buying weapons, and you can't buy armour.

4 RespuestasI'm so sorry. I wish I could have warned you.

Yes really. The story doesn't really start until sequence 4 and connor is such a bland character compared to Ezio.
