Oh boy, I can't -blam!-ing wait for Dark Souls 2. I just finished Dark Souls achievements 100% last week, and invested about 100+ hours into it on the Xbox version. Feeling a bit burnt out at the moment so I'm playing some other games, but I've got a few builds in mind that I will put into action soon.
One thing about Dark Souls is I really hated the second part of the game. I'm talking about the inferior post-Anor Londo areas. New Londo Ruins, Lost Izalith, ToTG and Duke's were not fun at all compared to the areas in the first half of the game. It's a good thing DS2 is in development so long so we can be sure it will not be rushed like Dark Souls was.

Editado por MartinOfRedwall: 7/3/2013 3:17:46 PM
but I've got a few builds in mind that I will put into action soon.
I suggest you try a glass canon build I've developed: 6 Attunement slots (Power Within in atleast one slot) 50 Int. Crown of Dusk Bellowing DragonCrest Ring. Dusk Crown Ring Tin Crystallization Catalyst Sanctus Here's how extreme burst damage mode works. With Dusk Crown Ring counterbalancing your Tin Crystal Catalyst cast loss, your HP will be around 285. When you use power within, you will lose 2 hp per second, but Sanctus will regen 3 hp every 1.5 seconds. The net effect is a loss of 2 hp every 3 seconds, allowing you to survive power within. All your other equipment combined should increase your spell damage up to a range of 1200 per soul spear while in burst mode and approximately 800 while outside burst mode. It was a fun challenge to make the build, but even more fun to use helping people by 5 Shotting Super Ornstein or one hit KO-ing invaders. (Not to mention pursuers of death)

Haha that sounds hilarious. I've gotta try that.

1 cast of Dark Bead deals 2200 to the Stone Daragon... Be wary of your power, as everything can 1 shot you as well.

I've beaten Dark Souls at least 5 times but I still haven't gotten every achievement haha. I've been so busy trying new builds and trying to find everything I've missed in the game. There is so much subtlety to this game. I love it. And yeah I've taken a break too. I played all five playthroughs back to back so now I'm playing Black Ops 2 and Dota 2 for a break before I jump back in. I'll have to do that third playthrough soon haha.

I have a lot of trouble getting into pvp because I don't want to grind for souls to level up and go through a whole playthrough to get all the items, so I think I'm going to make a low-level co-op anti-twink build to sunbro in the Parish. I really can't wait for Dark Souls 2, the PvE shines a lot more than the PvP IMO.

I agree. Although it does feel good to kill those random assholes who decide to invade you.

It's sad that I don't get many invasions while trying to do PvE. It spices the game up so much more. I just got the game in February, and I heard that in the first 6 months of DS' release, you would get invasions everywhere, since there weren't established areas for dueling like the burg and kiln. If that is true, I'm itching to kill some invaders in DS2.

Yeah man. I can't wait. I just wish I knew more people who played so we could help each other out and do PvP stuff together. That's really the only downfall to the game IMO: not enough people play it.
