Talked about this before: would be awesome, but not just on friday. Protecting the city and all human related keeps, spaceports, communications centers, supply routes ...(full in with any other idea) should be the mission every day happening. Fight for your world, be part of the story, leave your mark.

But it would still be cool if there was a huge collaboration defence thing aside from all the standard ones that you mentioned. I'm talkin world wide.

Yes, bigger events... But the way i dream, also the other events i mentioned is that everyone should take part... You get notification about an assault, depending on how many respond the call and if they succeed than you keep or loose that encampment. And that encampment will be lost for everyone as long as enough people play to gain control back. Assaulting the walls would be one of the main events of course!
