I don't understand how with limited information people are already picking their classes. Someone please explain ?

Space magic, less armor capabilities and more damage, along with the weakness makes me have to be conservative but have the ability to blow someone up. That's why I'm a warlock Hunters will be best for damage by running in ad going crazy in my opinion.

I like big guns and cool armour=titan

1 RespuestaEditado por Ghost Shadow141: 5/30/2013 2:57:32 AMPersonally my decision to be a Titan comes from my experience of other games. I've played things like fallout and skyrim, and while they don't give 100% accurate information on what magic is like, it can give me the feeling for it. Which frankly I just don't like, I feel like I'm not hitting my enemy, I like that OMPH you get when you nail a target with a bullet or an arrow. It just feels solid, and when I hit a guy with magic or a laser weapon, I just feel like they go "What was that" and keep on their merry way. I don't pick hunter because someone would see my attempt at sneaking and likely have an aneurysm and tell me to stop because it's painful to watch.

It's really not that hard to understand. The three classes of Destiny establish very clear archetypes. Do you want to be a Tanky Titan? A Sneaky Hunter? Or a Witty Warlock? We don't have all the information, but it's not too hard to imagine how the experiences of each class will come to life, and if you've played shooters before, you should have an idea of what sort of playstyle you enjoy the most.

They're three very familar archetypes that exist in almost every RPG. The Warrior, the Rogue, and the Mage. I usually play the Warrior, but I'm changing it up for at least my first play through by going Warlock (Mage).

Second most people hvae looked at the classes, and said what each one looks like. A Hunter "looks" like a sniper, so if they snipe alot they will be a hunter, same with titan being a run and gun guy. and warlock being a "support" class thingy. My only problem with this, is that we know that all the classes and use most type of guns if not all. (Concept art and rules of the jungle have told us this) So i could be a warlock that snipes or a titan. Or i could be a hunter that has a assault rifle and runs around and shoots. Why people think that only hunters can snipe i don't know, or that only titans can be a run and gun.

2 RespuestasBut with relatively zero information it leaves room for imagination. I would hazard a guess that most people are deciding based on how they play other games. I would pick the Titan because I like to throw myself in harms way and take it all in! (The Excitement I mean)

Warlock. I much prefer to be a caster, magic is just fun.

Its just what I want to be. I have always been the soldier type, the guy with the guns who prefers to tackle the enemy instead of sneaking around. And as much as I respect magic, I wouldnt use it well. So give me the think armor and the big guns. Those suit my personality better.

How is Hunter the lowest? On most other ones, it's the highest.

2 RespuestasEditado por BlessedSeraph: 5/29/2013 4:04:52 PMWe aren't committing to anything. People are just choosing whichever class is most appealing based on the limited information available. If new information makes a different class more appealing, we can always change.

5 RespuestasSome people have preferred playstyles in other games that they plan on carrying over to Destiny. For example, between the Warlock and Titan, which appears to be the spell caster and which appears to be the tank?
-
I've chosen my class because of the obvious armor types each class gets. There is already a distinct look that a titan has, and I like that look. I doubt there will be too much gameplay difference between the classes. SO that's why I've chosen.
