Four reasons why the Xbox One is bad?
1. Current Third Party Microphones won't work on it.
2. Zero backwards compatibility.
3. Xbox Live Subscription remains.
4. Requires once a day connection to the internet to function at ALL.
More? OK!
5. Focus on non-gaming media, most of which will probably cost additional subscriptions/ payments.
6. No renting/ borrowing/ using games- you have to pay full price.
7. Microsoft refuses to clarify on important issues regarding the console.
I mean hell, need I go on?

When they first came out they were only for calling. Then they got texting and they eventually evolved into things like the iPhone. The iPjone is many things in one. I can have a device that can not only communicate, but can also play music and use the internet. The iPod is the same. At first it was only for music then it evolved into what it is now. There's very little you can focus on for gaming now with today's tech. For now you want to make a console that can not only play video games, but can do other things as well. The only reason why my dads friend got the PS3 is because it's also a Blu-ray player.

Yes yes, they wanted to focus on things other than gaming and tomorrow will be all about gaming. I know. But for their initial presentation, they appealed to the wrong audience. And charging extra for it just sucks in general.

Why did people ever think that a head set would be compatible with next gen consoles? That's just like saying that controllers and games would work on the new consoles.

For the games if it has the hardware for it or the emulator you can play older games on the new one. Haven't you played an older game like Halo 2 on the 360?

Microsoft is making a new one so they can force their own brand of microphones on people. Most definitely 'all.' Xbox Live is $60 for a subscription whose primary goal is to allow you access to OTHER subscriptions, and that is a significant amount of money. Any other implication is nothing but daft.

(P.S, the XBL profit still isn't enough to balance the profit loss for them, they've lost 3 billion on the xbox in the past 10 years, Sony didn't have this subscription model, and they lost 4.7 billion on the PS3 alone) The other apps and stuff are secondary. Also $60 really isn't that much considering its a 1 year subscription. Working minimum wage would get you enough within a week. Not to mention you can get the cards on sale for $40.

A subscription that gives you access to subscriptions. And yes, you can earn $60 in a relatively short amount of time. But $60 is still a good amount of money. Definitely nothing to scoff at.

3. That's a sheep answer. 4. Confirmed by M$ themselves. Only 1 hour at a friend's house. 5. Another sheep answer. 6. Confirmed long ago. 7. They canceled their roundtable Q&A after E3. They are being elusive and won't even allow questions at E3. We won't hear word from then for an unknown amount of time. They may not even say anything after the presentation at all. Just give a flashy show and let people buy the console unbeknownst of what they are buying.

3. Well, I can't say that it justifies the charge, but at least we have more reason over the 360 to be charged. 4. It still does other things, though, and this isn't a big deal. 5. How? You don't have to use those features. I agree I have no use for them but they don't bother me that they are there. 6. Except games can be borrowed by a friend. 7. Yeah, it works as a DVD player when offline. 6. Not really You can give out a game once. That's not being borrowed, that's giving it away, and it can only be given once. They are controlling what you do with your games, your stuff. If I spend my hard earned money on a product I expect to own it and not be restricted by the company that sells it to me saying, no, our way or no way. 7. The point is that they aren't, and they are being elusive about it.
