Gone were the days when parody threads didn't even exist. Shit posting has become the norm, it seems.
One step closer to leaving this slowly depreciating community.
Also, this is a terrible effort seeing as most PC parts are made in China or other Asian countries.

I never said I was leaving immediately, I'm outlining the fact that BNet's community (or at least a large amount of it) has become shit, and a lot of long-time members like myself aren't enjoying the route the community is taking. Seven years of seeing this place slowly deteriorate isn't a nice feeling. Any your opinion is invalid because you're an '08.

Haha I don't. Mythics mean nothing now when there's no mutual respect on the site any more. Shitposts after shitposts have killed this community for me. There are only a few members I actually like any more (you're still one of them). The '08 part was a joke. A joke that has passed its time. I loved BNet from '06 to about '11, then it started going downhill. As if I care that some user I've never heard of wants to say "[you] won't be missed". I don't have a place on this site any more. I used to be that guy who wrote awesome theories and discussions which would go on for weeks on end, posting stories which people love to this day. Now? All I do is see shit threads like this, post in a few good ones, and get called out by users I don't even recognise. So what's the point? Habit is the only thing keeping me here. That an the prospect of Destiny information.

Why don't you make good threads then? I mean looking for good threads on the offtopic section isn't the best course of action anyway. This place a cesspool for idiocy. In fact I tend to post shitty things here only because it's relevant lol. Why don't we just post good public threads through the Mythix group, and maybe set some sort of -blam!-ing standard around here lol.

I've posted a few decent threads which have taken off, and a few which haven't. I only used to make one or two threads a week back in the day, and that hasn't changed. What has changed is the community's ability to make good threads. And I don't browse #OffTopic, I drink from the firehose.

Bungie has changed. It's no longer about video games, off-topic interests or community building. It's an endless series of parody threads, posted by trolls and fanboys. Bungie, and its consumption of sanity, has become a well-oiled machine.
