So Barbie is in the news again today and it made me realize that so many feminists and politically correct do gooders totally miss the point of Barbie. Yes, Barbie's proportions are a little extreme and hard to attain for the average woman, but it's important for young girls to have goals. What's wrong with aiming high? Would the feminists be happy if Barbie were fat and flat chested? How is that a good role model for young girls? I think Barbie is great. It's important that young girls learn quickly that society judges them on their breast size and weight. Not every young woman will look like Barbie, but they should at least try.
