Yeah, I have ideas. And what we have now isn't anything close.

I want examples, not a rewording of the same sentence. In what areas do you and the Tea Party suggest that the government's role should be smaller? Can you give me a handful of examples of ways in which the government we have now has overstepped their boundaries?

Obamacare, Schools, Patriot act, ect. Do you disagree when I say that our government is full of dishonest crooks who don't care how they spend the taxpayers dime?

Obamacare is a protection for the blue collar worker and is desperately needed. I thought you said that the Tea Party was for the people? I have no idea what you mean by schools. You'll have to elaborate on that one. I'll admit that the Patriot Act is probably unconstitutional. Unfortunately for your argument, I don't care. I fully supported the Patriot Act when Bush signed it and I fully support it now, because I'm not an ideological teen who thinks that "freedom" is more important than my life. Not that it's really relevant to you or me anyway - the only way the government would be wiretapping our phones is if we did suspicious things to trigger it. If you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn't be upset over it. I think that there are a lot of bad politicians everywhere. As it turns out, the Tea Party is just another political party. People like Rand Paul are so laughably Republican that I'm really not sure how to respond to someone who claims there's a difference in the Tea Party and the Republican Party. Screaming "we need smaller government" louder doesn't make you more of a patriot.
