Really looking forward to this! Hope it will be out on next gen as it would be nice to see this depth of a world with next gen graphics! I just hope they can do it right, halo series have been just story driven games not a lot of customization nor as open world as they are making this out to be. Love it all though been waiting for a game like this. Reminds me of Anarchy Online if you actually shot in first person instead of hitting ability keys!

I do trust Bungie to create something special as they always have though.

Bleh, the ViDoc was pretty disappointing after waiting for 3 years for SOME kind of look at the game. It was full of vague nonsense. They really need to get a grip and present themselves as game developers rather than a group of people who generate such sickening circle-jerks of admiration for their ability to prolong a mystery among fanboys. It has [i]really[/i] got to the point where it's not quaint anymore. They even ended the ViDoc with a clip from the 20 year anniversary one released 3 years ago... The art and environments look amazing, but the animations look pretty poor to me. Obviously they'll be improved because it's early footage, but it was very MMO-ish when you see the characters glide up stairs rather than walk. I also [i]abhor[/i] the idea of push notifications being sent to my phone, I appreciate that they want to reach players in new ways but I will certainly not be using that feature. Words With Friends and Tapped Out has completely demolished any chance of me even entertaining the thought og having an app that sends push notifications. I don't really feel any different to how I did before this ViDoc was released, to be honest. Something to look forward to, but otherwise I'm pretty indifferent. I didn't much like the synoptic voice over telling the story, it's a very generic way to simplify and summarise a story that Jason Jones said is supposed to keep people playing for 50-100 hours so I hope it's not actually in the game.

I have full confidence in Bungie as a company to pull this off. I seriously hope this is also a next gen simultaneous release as well, cause I need a new Bungie IP to keep me occupied on a new system for the next 10 years. :) I just pre-ordered mine a few minutes ago at Gamestop to get the poster for free. If there is a LE type edition or a next gen edition I will bump my pre-order to that later. The poster is double sided and full sized (50 x 30 inch or something)... not a little flyer "poster" I thought it was going to be.

I think more than anything it left me confused. Is this an MMO or not? If so, to what extent? Is it more like Borderlands, just with more randoms in it? Will there be a set campaign? Is there an actual story or are there multiple giant stories wound into one giant story? This is a ten year project. Does that mean that the conclusion of the story won't be available for ten years? I like the concept, but I'm going to need more info before I hand over my money. Seems cool though.

I really can't say It made me milk myself, very limited game play shots, but that didn't stop me from pre-ordering it in record fashion!

If Destiny is a cross between Halo and Elite it won't matter too much (as I've been waiting nearly two decades for an Elite sequel) but that's my main misgiving at the moment.
