1. Kill Spartan Ops.
2. Make the BR function like the Light Rifle, particularly make the spread and recoil controllable.
Unscoped: bigger spread, has recoil, leading shots
Scoped: tighter spread, has no recoil, hitscan
Reasoning: remember how in Halo 3 you could get multiple headshots with 1 burst and how you could kill a shielded Jackal with 1 burst to the arm (the rifle would recoil and sometimes hit the head)? It's much more harder due to the tighter spread and hitscan. I found the H3 BR to be more versatile than the H2 BR (which was versatile if you used button combos).
3. Higher jump
4. More force when running into marines and light vehicles (like when you're doing the Infinite Armor Lock glitch in Reach)
5. Bring back:
-Reach Covenant supply case (I liked how I could melee it upright easily compared to Halo 2 and 3's absurdly heavy supply cases and Halo 4's egg thing)
-Halo 3 lookout tower (Halo 4's lookout tower is the worst. You can get stuck in the grav lift and there's little roaming space on the top platform)
-Halo 3 comm node (was useful for trick jumps and as blockade material. Now it's just shit)
-CE Shade turret (has to be movable, the reskinned H3/ODST/Reach Shade in Halo 4 cannot be moved by even a Wraith)
-CE Hog bounce
-CE Ghost hover height
-Campaign: ODST Banshee, Multiplayer: Halo 2/3 Banshee
-Halo 2/3 secondary vehicle explosion
-Halo 2/Reach Ghost weak spot
-CE/ODST Co-op riding on Scorpion treads
-Scorpion passenger seat prompts (for some reason this is missing in Halo 4, making it a pain to manage marines that are on it. Afaik, there is one seat that does not respond to you, leaving 1 marine stuck on it)
6. More varied AI animations. They always do the same berserk, they always do the same melee, they always do the same grenade toss. It's no wonder why they're becoming stale.
7. More varied AI responses. CE had various responses, Halo 2 killed much of it but added sword pull, Halo 3 added Grunt kamikaze, Reach and Halo 4 haven't made major contributions.
8. More varied AI capabilities. Lancers have a single ability (zig zag), Commanders have a single ability (ridiculous explosion), Battlewagons have a single ability (jump), Zealots have a single ability (camo). This is pathetic.

I stopped reading when you said kill spartan ops

Editado por ZealotSG: 1/24/2013 5:31:09 AMWell well well, now I see why you said that. You're from Waypoint. IGN = IGNorance
-
Lol, people who say "IGN = IGNorance" are usually the ignorant ones. Oh, and most people on Waypoint hate the game btw. Spartan Ops is great, all I have to say.

Editado por ZealotSG: 1/24/2013 3:06:49 AMWhat do you like about Spartan Ops? Go on Halo Waypoint Forums. All you see is talk about Spartan Ops and H4 Matchmaking. Only a single stickied topic actively discusses Campaign. Spartan Ops has supplanted the Campaign. That's why it must die. It's incredibly lackluster compared to the Campaign. LESS replayability options. No scoring, no proper scaling, no skulls, no lives, no checkpoints.

I like it because it continues H4's story and basically a second campaign. I'm happy that I can get the experience of the campaign even after I completed it. With new environments, characters, and a furtheration of the story. This is a great service for campaign/lore lovers such as myself. Oh and BTW, there are many active discussions about the campaign on the Haloverse section of Waypoint.

Hmm I'd rather have an extended campaign. But wouldn't that just be about the canon?
-
I think this is their twist on providing an extended campaign, it just seems a little less serious. I think of Spartan ops as Halo 4's version of ODST. As long as they keep the experience on par or better than what they showed in ep. 6 I think it really could be considered a second campaign.

Editado por ZealotSG: 1/25/2013 3:18:46 AMYeah I agree. Don't get me wrong, playing as a Spartan IV is a lot more interesting than playing as Chief since they've got tactical packages and support upgrades, but it's the same enemies. Spartan Ops giving us Crawlers with Elite leaders is something that should have been done right from the start. I'm not too excited about Episode 6 with the recent (crushing) revelation of campaign (or Spartan Ops) theater not being considered. My only hope now is that small clip of a red Knight (Didact controlled) impaling and tossing an Elite in the lava area. This was seen in the E3 trailer but hasn't been seen since. Forerunner is the only level that features them fighting each other. There ought to have been more levels with this. I find it hard to believe Jul was among those Elites bowing down to Didact.
