What do you think about a man hitting a woman?
I've noticed that when a women confronts a man by hitting him or in some cases encouraging him to hit her that when the man actually does strike her, people are surprised and almost always back up the women.
How do you feel about this? Should it be frowned upon when a man hits a women back?

Women have equal rights, so if a women hits a man or man hits a women it should be seen and judged the same.

Well, in a perfect world, people should frown upon either of the sexes hitting each other equally; but of course this isn't always the case.

Men shouldn't hit women unless they are presented with genuine danger in the given situation.

A man can hit a woman legally in the same situations he can hit a man legally. If a woman broke into my house with a weapon she would be "hit" with .58 caliber hollow point sabot slug. same for any guy.

I have never hit a woman, but if she was swinging at me... I'd suppress her actions using 8 years of martial arts to restrain her. if I'm dealing with a crazy woman with a knife, I'm using any means required to K.O. her and remove the knife from her person.

8 RespuestasSituational, most women can't do as much physical damage as men. In most cases, I don't think I'd respond in any other way than pushing her off. However, if she is actually harming me and is intimidating and relentless, she'll get what's coming to her.

If someone (man or woman) hits me, I will hit back. It doesn't matter that they tend to be weaker; if you attack someone who is stronger than you, you are asking to be hurt. The only exception to this would be little kids (under 14), they might still get taught a lesson, but it's not the same thing.

Realistically, the average woman is physically weaker than the average man. Women possess less than half the upper-body strength of men. This isn't me being sexist, it's just a scientific fact; men are far stronger than women. I frown upon anyone who hurts someone weaker than them. For this reason, I frown upon men who hit women.
