Well after watching this whole video, and after taking into account the amount of mental pressure these officers must have been dealing with, I'm siding with the police.
Posted by: lonepaul2441 The arrest that idiot. I hardly doubt they would try and grab a police officers weapon with 20 more right behind them. Also Maverick you seem to hate me because I have a different opinion just because you doesn't mean you can spread lies about me.
Put yourself in the shoes of the squad leader. Would you really want to risk the lives of your officers, and the civilians around you, on that assumption? All it takes is one person to make a stupid decision. And that decision could cost lives.

They were CLEARLY surrounded, CLEARLY threatened and the police kindly and CLEARLY warned the protestors of forcible actions! Enclosing them and not allowing them to leave unless the arrested were let free is a threat. Chanting "-blam!- THE POLICE" more than once is a verbal assault on the police.
Wow is there anything you guys can do without the police seeing it as a threat? Can you even look at them? Im watching the video im at 12:23 and they have been peaceful at all times, big deal they are surrounded they some how got more police so im sure they could leave any time they liked.
Um, yes. You can do just about all you want and be viewed peaceful by the police. The protestors clearly did not. I mean, if a mob surrounds policemen and starts yelling "-blam!- THE POLICE", I'd say that would be a good verbal assault, and who knows where the mob mentality could lead. And not letting them leave is both a THREAT to police and obstruction of justice, trying to prevent them from doing their job.
Its been proven protests turn violent when police show up, don't pin the warzones at these protests on the protesters. They said -blam!- the police a few times big deal did they do anything? NO. The police where the agressive ones threatening the protesters
The pepper spray was JUSTIFIED! The protestors were violating the law by obstructing the police. Then they proceeded to make DEMANDS for the police to let their idiot friends go. I mean hell, they were even TOLD to move out of the way or they'd get pepper sprayed. It's just like idiots who are stopped for speeding, get told by the officer multiple times to get out and stop being aggressive or they'll get tazed. Guess what, they get TAZED and they deserve it. Just like the protestors deserved getting pepper sprayed for obstructing justice.

Because mobs have the intent to do so or want to disobey the law, not cooperate, or try to catch police in a bad light when they're called to make sure nothing gets out of hand. They didn't threaten the protestors in any way. "You do understand force will be used if you do not move by the time the squad arrives?" <- A CLEAR WARNING, NOT A THREAT. The protestor: "Yes sir." The protestor had clear warning and understanding of force to be used. No threat. The crowd was threatening them the entire time.
