The staff working on D2 are trying. There’s just not enough of them. I also suspect the more experienced/capable devs will be working on Marathon.

Bad move on their part. Marathon is gonna tank. They should’ve developed D3 on a new engine

Yeah, think Marathon will flop almost as badly as Concord. D3 should have started with Beyond Light. That would have left D2 intact, no content vault.
