Play the game how you want to play. Play with double primary, doesn't make sense but alright go ahead But if you go afk or leave the match if you're doing terrible, don't enter. It's annoying, I rather have someone who is not good and try than a dead weight who believes the game owes them. Thank you for reading my PSA on what to do as a casual
You're trying to take seriously a game that the developers don't even take seriously. The matchmaking still sucks. Casuals are fodder for the top 10% With that in mind you expect a casual to go up against the top 10% and be just fine about it - still compete, still hang in there, even though they get one shot by a melee, hit from across the map with a broken redrix, or face a whole team of radiant dance machines... You can't be serious...

They made the choice to join, they decided to engage in a mode where they knew their performance and participation effects other players. They have an obligation (it's in the tos) to at least participate, if they are unwilling to meet the barest minimum expectation of them having made the choice to load in, then they should not make that choice. I don't have to "take the game seriously" to not want my time wasted by ppl who chose to show up and then chose to do nothing, doing that is called griefing. Play or don't show up at all is a fair ask.

You have an obligation (it's in the tos) to at least participate, if you are unwilling to meet the barest minimum expectation of having made the choice to load in with randoms, then you should not make that choice. Play with randoms or start your own team is a fair ask.

Not being a random isn't in the ToS. Not going afk or leaving(within reason), sabotaging, and otherwise intentionally making others experience worse is. You should have entirely removed this bit btw, this actually supports what we're saying, and kinda breaks up the whole I use your words against you thing you we're going for. Imo shows you didn't really think it through.
Play with randoms or start your own team is a fair ask.
And this bit too for that matter, if you load in solo, it's not an ask it's a fundamental requirement. I'm a random to them too, and I'd expect them to expect me to participate in the game mode I loaded into. Honestly, the more I break down your attempt, the worse it becomes.

This isn't the clap back you think it is. I'm perfectly fine playing with randoms, as long as they are in fact playing. I expect to have to carry and often do, I'm not asking them to be gods, I'm asking them, as ppl who made the choice to boot the mode up to actually play the game.

You really don't get it, do you? All of us here complaining about stuff like this, no matter how poorly the match is going, are still going to try our best to win. For our sake, for our teams sake, for the sake of everyone involved. This isnt something you can reverse on us. All we are asking is that the other people involved maintain the social contract. You show up, your teammates deserve a certain level of respect. Deciding to give up spits on that respect.

you're fodder until you play to get good guns, learn and understand the game better, and keep practicing. i was a 1.20 trials kd when i first started the season before the current expansion. now im sitting at a 1.81 base and 2.17 (lower than usual (maps have been soooo bad)) seasonal kd. you can become better at the game but yes like any fps you start as "fodder" which is how it should be in a pvp game.

  • No other game constantly pushes pve players, aged from 6 up 86, who can barely shoot dregs, into PvP Vs 10 year veterans with hundreds of thousands of kills. Some people simply can't get better , your theory is correct but not for everyone in this game, this game is a little different to other fps shooters. In other games you buy the game to play PvP, most people buy destiny to avoid playing PvP 😂
