Pretty much like the title says, it's time for Bungie to admit they failed miserably in PVP and remove it entirely from the game, I don't care how many people "enjoy" it. I don't care what it would do to the game, it's time to remove this stain on Destiny 2 and be PVE only, because that's what Destiny is. It's PvE. First, let's talk skill: While I will admit, a certain level of skill can be achieved organically by anyone, skill only goes so far when you have the single defining reason why PVP doesn't belong in Destiny 2. RNG. it doesn't matter how good you are, if the other guy got better numbers and rolls on his weapon, he automatically has an advantage without ANY sort of skill inherent to himself whatsoever. Which brings me to my next point, Weapon Balancing: Can't happen in a game heavily influenced by RNG, you can't plan around all the crazy mods and perks these things roll with at random. Next, Ability Spam: This many wacky abilities and exotics and bs makes it hard to balance out PVP effectively, case in point: Hunter Stasis in the early days of Beyond Light, Shotgun Ape Titans with Arcane Barriers, Hunters in General during Final Shape. It's a chaotic mess that shouldn't be allowed when your entire thing is about "balancing" Lastly, Atrocious Hack Prevention: No beating around the bush, hackers are out of control, earlier I played a round of IB, and I threw A Nova Bomb, I watched sail towards the person, and they ran through it, with no damage, not even an explosion, then proceeded to shoot me. Headshots that don't count, or wall hacks without Wish Ender. It's a mess, and Bungie is doing nothing about it. In closing, PVP is ruining this game and it's time we all stop pretending and admit the truth, and if you are one of those who thinks it's fine, you are part of the problem, you are wrong, and you should feel bad about yourself. It's not competitive, it's not balanced, and if it can't be fixed, then get rid of it.
