Lowest player numbers in the history of this game due to bad balancing, next to no incentives to play, poor matchmaking and team balancing and very recently, suspensions for leaving QP matches.
You've outdone yourself here bungie, really...

We come to life under the neon glow it’s the party of your lifetime!

I mean, there probably would be more people playing it if you didn't constantly have the 24/7 crucible players constantly whining about teammates, not winning every match, or wanting everything to just be nerfed all the time. Usually makes everyone else not want to play the mode when you have to deal with thoughs kinds of players

19 RespuestasBungie is aware of this issue and understands the community so they will be nerfing TITANS. This should fix the problem. Thanks for the feedback back.

23 RespuestasCrucible has it's problems but is still quite enjoyable and they have to do the work to make changes. The changes have been occuring faster and are targeted. I think this is a doom and gloom post. The numbers always fluctuate. The people that do enjoy Crucible continue to play it. The nerfs should help people find new and interesting ways of building out the classes and we can offer our constructive criticism in the hope that they consider the feedback when making their decisions. Final Shape shook things up quite a bit, but negative sentiment posts are perpetuating an idea that exaggerates things. Stuff needs to change, but nuance is important. The mob should better communicate to convey what is and isn't working.

…and PvE.

Killed PvP? Wrong sir, they brutally murdered Destiny
-
Again? Wasn't it already dead?
-
Sorry my man, my Fireteam still plays but we are in private Crucible, so we don't bump into Prismatic-using sweats, so I think we are also contributing to why public PvP is dying. At the same time, private PvP is actually fun as we are all just sitting over a Discord voice call and laughing while killing each other in-game.

You've outdone yourself here bungie, really...
Because Bungie is caught between a rock and a hard place. Too many dedicated PvP players go into game modes like Quick Play and sweat like crazy because they like seeing their high KDs. That means casual players have to sweat like crazy every match. They hate it, leave, and never come back. If Bungie solves this problem, the dedicated players whine about how sweaty their games feel (since they're all sweats) because they're all facing each other, and demand Bungie make the casual game mode more casual. It's a community issue. The sweats play hard every game, but they want easy matches because high kill counts = big dopamine for them. However, that means feeding them a limited (and shrinking) supply of low lights, the pool of which is shrinking because people aren't as dumb as PvP mains think we all are and we all know they're being farmed out for We Rans and YT clip videos. So, the sweats need to start using the proper playlists when they want to sweat, of watch PvP die. Their call

I've never been a pvp player and only wanted the adapt weapon mods gated by the lighthouse. And what do I meet in trials? Pris hunter one after another, I've never seen a single subclass been so one-sided dominant in pvp, by only throwing their abilities on cd and they're half way to victory.

You think they’ve outdone themselves, oh they’ll find a way to out themselves even more and make it even worse

9 RespuestasWhy do people pretend like destiny pvp was ever good?
-
yes, but i never understood why they lay so much on pvp. 90% of all players i know never play it because its just not fun overall.
-
It’s absolutely d0gsh1t atm. Games don’t even start with full lobbies in OCE. I had 2 mongoose errors before actually getting a game this morning on a Saturday morning for gods sakes They’ve let pvp rot.
-
There has to be more people playing sparrow control than this.

7 RespuestasLet’s not forget the nerfs to hunters every time we turn around.

You've outdone yourself here bungie, really...
It's just the meta. Either run a high impact pulse or a hand cannon or leave. Players don't like being forced to play one way. Wanna snipe, weird didn't know snipers were in pvp, but it's cool run a high impact. Want to cover long to medium ranges, cool run a high impact. Wanna cover close range cool run a high impact. Wanna counter snipers? Seriously? These are in the game? it's cool, just run a high impact. Khvostov on the enemy team? Run a high impact. Oh, they are running a side arm for close range. It's cool. Here is an easily farm precision frame with slickdraw opening shot in the energy slot. Oh, u wanna run elsies. Here is a craft able opening shot precision frame. Wait, why are u running (insert weapon here), take that off, and run either messenger or elsies. This has be arguably the worse meta since the auto rifle meta back in season of arrivals. In 6s I'll run whatever but in trials it's either run a high impact and get to the light house in about 30 min or work all weekend playing how I wanna play and get to the light house anywhere from 1hr to 2 days.

Using an exotic quest (which should be difficult) as a gatekeeper for paid seasonal content may increase the loss of interest in future paid content.

2 RespuestasStop leaving matches so you don’t F up match making then. How is match making supposed to work if more than a third of the players drops out?

You've outdone yourself here bungie, really...
Definitely not defending this game as I get 70-100% chance to lose games still lol, but what other PvP is “good” these days? There are leaver penalties in all PvP games these days even in quick play which boggles my brain. PvP games where people play religiously they still don’t know how to actually play it lol. I see people standing around in all PvP games so ask yourself wtf is wrong with PvP players in general. I’d stop blaming and getting mad at the game as you can just play another and get the same level of tilt. What ya mean lol look at Overwatch2, Warlander, Concord, Splitgate, Predecessor, Xdefiant, The Finals, Call of Duty. Won’t you experience the same in D2? Although there isn’t a tracker site showing you how unbalanced the matches are I bet if all of had one you would see 90% chance to lose in all the games listed plus. Have fun play other games if one pisses you off it’s not worth not enjoying a game versus getting mad at a video game.

You'd think Bungie would be trying to impress the pvp crowd ahead of Marathon 👀
-
Nah you need players in the game at all for that. Everything they try ruins it for someone and they always go back to the same problems we always have anyway in an effort to appease a few people who won't play long term anyway.

PvP been -blam!- since beyond light

Oh no pvp is dead anyway
