Sounds like Bungie changed it. You can go into your account settings and see if you a name change available.

I have the same problem, and yeah I get my username was probably in violation. But I never used my name change thing, why can't I change it still? I never got any emails or notifications of my name being of any trouble cause my username was just my steam name. Steam never warned me.

Why should you get another change when your name violated ToS? Everyone gets the same number of changes. Should have been more wise in your name selection.

Your name is only locked to Guardian### if you have previously used your name changes. IF you still have a name change available you should be able to choose a new name that aligns with the Bungie Name policy/Code of Conduct

I and my ENTIRE steam profile are supposed to cater to Bungie? I never knew that I could go into bungie's website to change my name, but because of that I am supposed to suffer because while steam doesn't mind my name, Bungie does?

GrimmVA23 is the name I wanna change it to. But it doesn't matter anymore cause bungie and their infinite wisdom used my free name change token thing to change it to Guardian0723, which btw isn't only mine, there's someone else with the same username but their other 4 digits are different.
