I think heavy being available in 3v3 gamemodes particularly comp and trials is very annoying because it grants a very easy kill. Just want opinions about this matter.

If they remove heavies the principle could be applied to supers and special ammo weapons.

I do feel like heavy in gamemodes like trials are very rng dependant on where you spawn on certain maps to gain advantage over heavy or not. In the past its a debate if going for the heavy is now throwing away in dominion or not depending on what classes are on the field IMO, back in d1 trials both teams got heavy and the power scale was balanced due to it

Dude I don’t care about the heavy as much as I do the timer on heavy out the gate. make it like 30-40sec

1 RespuestaEditado por Guardian, Archon Of Light: 7/21/2024 5:44:58 AMTrials and Comp should be primary only, period Sniper,Fusion, and Shotties are cheese, win a gunfight!!!

it's to force people to not play passive.

2 RespuestasI remember the days when it used to be waved off

I honestly don't think Heavy should exist in PvP at all, but especially so in "competitive" game modes. All it really accomplishes is forcing a change in scenery as both teams have to camp the location to keep the other off of it, and that assumes a Titan doesn't just saunter up and casually throw their Barricade down to take it for free.
-
What’s even more perplexing is when someone flies in already laden with heavy ammo…when none is visibly available?! 🧐 Not easing my springs on this one! 🙄
-
It's in 1 round of trials.
-
Heavy doesn’t belong anywhere tbh. Mayhem, sure. Maybe Quickplay because who cares. But anything beyond that, it’s just annoying and unfun.
-
I hate it so much. I complain about it every single time I play 3v3.
-
3v3 shouldn't even have weapons, un-charged melee only!
-
I don't like, spelled HATE, getting hit with heavy and I only go for it if I need it for a bounty, err, path node, or trying to prevent the other team from getting it. But yes I believe it has a place in PvP.
-
I wouldn’t mind it if the map design and spawns weren’t made by completely incompetent idiotic morons. Sadly it’s Bungie so the majority of maps have a good and bad spawn and every game you coin flip which spawn you’ll have for heavy round. If it was perfectly even 50/50 it wouldn’t be AS bad, but the simple solution would be to remove heavy.
-
Yeah I agree but it can help switch it up in trials. I don’t think it should be in hardware
-
1 RespuestaIt’s fine in Trials, it’s one round, right in the middle of the match. Can raise or lower morale. I love the battle for heavy in Trials actually. In comp i can care less if it stays or goes.
-
I’ve been saying this for months, whatever round it spawns on basically boils down to whoever can get heavy ammo first wins
-
Editado por Sas: 7/20/2024 8:25:30 AMIt doesn't belong in any pvp game mode. Nor do most of the abilities, but that's a different bag on the scales outweighing fun.
-
I see it as something the competitive seem not to like... an objective. You have to decide. Can you live without it? Will you make a play to get it? Will you try to take those out who are on the other team and going for it? Decisions something slightly more than peaking cover or crouch spamming. Thoughts?

Speaking only for myself, I don't see that it really matters since I typically meet a swift demise anyway. The 3 Trials matches I played earlier are evidence of that.
-
Honestly, I don't care for heavy in crucible and think if it's going to be present at all, it should be limited to once per match.
