Exotic class item needs duplicate protection….
This is beyond infuriating. 27 drops and 8 have been duplicates. On top of how many rolls are available and lack of ways to obtain these items the lack of protection is a joke, nothing worse than grinding chests in the Landing for a duplicate when 60 plus rolls are available. Making this item available in other activities like Excision and offer protection against duplicates is sorely needed,

So don't pretend that they don't know how to manipulate the loot system in this game. I don't know who came up with this "duplicate protection" to manipulate people into believing that is a thing knowing the duplicates are by design from devs that have been at this for years, and they know how to adjust the drop rates for the better or worse.

2 RespuestasThis expansion is all time stealing activitys its horrible . bungie wants more and more and gives less and less. from glimmer grinding to power level grind the worst it's ever been. repeat class items over and over. long quest that are super boring. l gave up on all of it. just to strung out and boring. they finally drove me to just doing what l want and don't care about the rest. even deleted act 2 quest. The game is hanging on by a thread and bungie continues to make the same mistakes. nobody likes hours of boring grind for very little. they can keep the exotic wave trace rifle also. just not worth the ridicules grind for a weak always out of ammo weapon.

5 RespuestasThey need fugly protection in the form of being able to transmog them with legendary ornaments. Until that happens I just can’t bring myself to use them or even farm for them. Yes I am that vain!

2 RespuestasI think a way to target 3 perks per column or a way to guarantee the perk you want in 1 column would also be fine. That makes it a 1/9 or 1/8 chance respectively.

100% this. It’s why the computer ninjas are running the macros. You practically have to live on the game to get the rolls you want. Grind monkey……grind……

1 RespuestaWhat they need to do is make the exotic class item have two extra empty exotic slots, where you can put exotic mods. Then, dual destiny should just drop mods. It would eliminate the vault space issue it causes and it would eliminate the need to fsrm on all 3 classes.

Ive only farmed about thirty of them and i got six duplicates of necrotic claw and two duplicates of claw and something else. The odds of that happening are crazy. Ive basically given up. The one roll i want isnt actually worth the frustration

It's so random that a regular "patrol" chest in the pale heart can contain. Is it their way of encouraging players to roam solo in the pale heart so they can pat themselves on the back for player engagement in the new area? I wouldn't be surprised, as it's supsicious that unlocking all fragments almost requires a google or youtube search to increase trending seaches for Destiny online. (free trending searches by way of vague in-game instructions)

Yep. I have given up farming pale heart chests entirely for the rolls I want. The duplicate drops are a real kick to the balls when you sometimes have an hour or so in between each drop. Real time waster, and I'm over it 🙂
