I have two.
First is unplugging the toaster to plug in something rarely used and not plugging the toaster back in after.
I have taken more of a liking toast the past few months, and so I’m making it more frequently and sometimes I find the toaster unplugged and it’s annoying.
Second is people (specifically my mother) forgetting the difference between furries and therians.
I am neither a furry or a therian but I have friends who are furries (they’re very chill) and I know a little about therians. The two are very different, only having animals in general as a common factor. One seems to be very chill in my experience, while the other is therians. It annoys me a lot when people mix them up. Although, they never seem to want to listen to my explanation, which just annoys me more.

Editado por x Lets Get It On: 7/21/2024 10:31:17 PMMy pet peeves are all road related. Like people who don't use turning signals. Cool that you know where you're going but I don't wanna be on the road trying to figure out where yall heading to. Left? Right? Show me before your destination is up there with Jesus himself. Riding behind someone who gets on their brakes every 5 seconds or take their sweet time to turn.

When people aren't held accountable for their actions. The gun killed the victim, really? it wasn't the guy who loaded it and fired it into the victim. Guns aren't evil or dangerous, humans are both evil and dangerous and those who commit crimes should be held responsible for their actions instead of blaming the tool used. I.E. quit banning the guns, your just restricting useful tools for law-abiding citizens, the crooks will always have guns, Los Angeles street gangs will and do have Full-Auto AK-47s unmarked from Russia.

Oh, this would take a while... I guess the biggest off the top of my head would be lying / intentionally spreading untruth. Overly aggressive / bad drivers, and criminal intent would be up there as well.

I can't stand when people (usually my sister) leave the toaster out on the counter. Put things away when you're done with them instead of leaving them for others to clean up!

1 RespuestaEditado por RAVEN: 7/19/2024 3:29:40 AMSo, what I am getting at this that furries are inferior to therians. One simply just role-play and the other are the animals.

8 RespuestasProbably not my biggest pet peeve, but here's one that simultaneously annoys me, and makes me laugh: "(insert children's TV show here) isn't actually for kids because of (insert dark scene/theme/etc. here)." So, like, I love kid's shows. I watch more cartoons now as an adult than I ever did as a kid. And, like, I'm not the only one. There are plenty of teenagers & adults who love watching kid's shows. The majority of them are mature enough to just accept that fact, but there's a not insignificant subset of people (mostly teenagers) who like watching children's shows, but try to cover it up by saying the kid's show that they watch isn't like all those other ones. The one that they watch is all grown up and mature. One of the big things that always gets brought up here is "Oh, this show isn't for kids, because this character dies!" and I always like to bring up the point that there were three characters killed on screen in Sofia the First. A show made for actual kindergartners. And if the kindergartners can handle a few murders, so can the 13 year olds. :p But also, just, people act like saying the show they watch isn't for kids inherently makes it better somehow, but, like, that's not how it works. Good writing is good writing, no matter who the intended audience is, and there are plenty of really well written shows made with children in mind. All of this is really just to say, yes, The Clone Wars is a children's TV show, stop trying to say it's not, it doesn't make you look more mature. Quite the opposite, actually.

Gotta be when someone calls my name and then goes on an immeasurably long side quest leaving me to just wander around screaming their name.

The easy answer is people chewing with their mouth open, and I understand if a child may be doing it but I mean a fully grown adult doing that makes me so angry. The more specific answer is like say I mess something up. I screw up and knock something off the counter, something stupid but relatively harmless. I do that, then apologize and recognize that what I did was dumb and that I’m sorry for doing it, and then someone goes “yeah you should be sorry” or “yeah that was stupid what’s wrong with you” like are you kidding me? I’m already taking responsibility for my mistake and apologizing and trying to fix what I screwed up and you’re still getting on me about it? Like don’t you know how much I’m already beating myself up in my head for this? I KNOW I messed up! Just let me make it right without making me feel worse than I already do!

2 RespuestasOkay this one is super specific. So please bear with me as I attempt to explain. When people voice their opinion using the word “still” in their sentence. The sentence usually looks like this: (I’m using a movie as an example) “Pacific Rim is STILL the greatest movie ever made” Now I don’t care about the opinion itself (for the record I’ve never seen that movie) But it’s the way it’s phrased just annoys me because it’s such a common way that people will put their opinion on the metaphorical table. Example of a conversation: Person 1: “I really like God of War 2.” Person 2: “Personally I enjoyed God of War 3 more, although God of War 2 is one of my favorite games.” Person 3: “I still think God of War 2018 is the best GoW game.” OH REALLY? YOU STILL THINK THAT? EXCELLENT. PLEASE UPDATE ME IN THE FUTURE AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE STILL THINKING THAT!!! 👍👍👍👍 Realistically I’m not gonna go crazy or stop an entire conversation to point out if someone says it. I don’t care that much. But there are more ways to add to a conversation without phrasing it like that lol
