Im beginning to finally understand that the community hates content creators, unless they agree with their opinions...

Nah if a YouTuber has an opinion similar to mine I either assume they had a moment of clarity or I switch my opinion. I don’t hate them because they effect the game or whatever people talk about my hatred for them is just on principle
-
What a dumb principle
-
I’ll be honest I don’t even remember why I made it a principle, but a man’s gotta keep a code
-
Is he saying he loves the guy or just using the video as an example of a problem?
-
The problem is that these very forums are anti streamer and anything they say UNLESS they agree with it 😂
Is he saying he loves the guy or just using the video as an example of a problem?
Where did I say he loves him?

"Im beginning to finally understand that the community hates content creators, unless they agree with their opinions..." It looks very clear to me here you are conflating his using Aztec video as if he liked the guy for it.
It looks very clear to me here you are conflating his using Aztec video as if he liked the guy for it.
That's not what I'm doing here dear. It's not about him liking him as a creator or person, it's about his opinion only being valid once it coincides with his own. I'm not saying that he likes him, I'm saying that he only values his opinion and input when it mirrors his own. This community is pretty well known for its anti streamer/content creator stance, but its amusing how the moment someone cracks on Bungie or shared a negative sentiment that the community at large holds then suddenly it flips and we go from actively hating content creators to "let's hear them out".

This doesn’t apply to me as a lot of the things said by Aztecross usually are just standard viewpoints.

Firstly, I used community. I wasn't referring to you in particular as being anti streamer. As far as my second point goes, you'll note that I said "negative sentiment the community holds" your dislike of Hunters is the negative sentiment in question. A negative view can be a standard view, and it seems like the only reason you're even posting this is because a big streamer described your point of view better than you could. You value his opinion and deemed it worthy to share, but only because it mirrors your own.

Is arguing and debating on these forums 72 percent of your life?
Is arguing and debating on these forums 72 percent of your life?
No.
-
Ok 64 percent.
-
Do you have anything important to say or did you really just want to let me know what's on your mind? If you wanted me to pay attention to you all you have to do is ask.
-
I was just curious. Do you enjoy your time on this forum?
-
I was just curious.
Are you convincing me or you?
Do you enjoy your time on this forum?
Obviously, otherwise I wouldn't do it.
-
Is it addicting for you?
-
Not really. If I'm ever put in a position where I can't do this (i.e. I get forum banned) I just shrug my shoulders and do something else. This is a fun, but non essential part of my day.

Fr I don’t get the hate towards them
Fr I don’t get the hate towards them
Streamers have direct communication with develepers they have entirely too much input on how this game is designed
-
Most of these streamers havent heard word from bungie any more directly than we have for years. Beyond that, ill note that the community summits, the big thing people like to point to where bungie talks to all the streamers? Regular players used to receive invites to go to those. I once got an email invite to go to one of those. And my only claim to fame is being slightly annoying on the forums. Bungie talks to us about as much as they talk to the streamers. Its just that the streamers are well known, and so theyre an easy face for people here to attach all their bogeymen to.

I doubt bungie actually cares about what they say
-
They invite them up to the studios to bounce ideas off of them and play test stuff… literally get their input. Most of them played over half the campaign of Final Shape months before launch.

Free advertising, plus a lot of game companies do this stuff.
