Yeah, no, that's an uncompelling and lazy argument.
It's why it is the way it is, but trying to say that's why it should stay that way is arbitrary.
Lazy would be asking for a way to get a reward without doing the activity that the reward is from.

It wouldn't even matter which dungeon any of them are tougher than DD, it's one of the easiest exotic missions. Though I'm sure they'd be in here whining that the solo unlock I'm proposing would be too hard. 🤷 Part of me just wants to see who would actually buckle up if they got what they wanted.

You cannot remove that and have it be the same mission. The game provides all players with the ability to find another person to run the mission with. To not use them is lazy, yes.

Editado por Zodleon: 7/5/2024 9:20:16 PMI said no to changing the mission. It's a good mission, and doesn't need to be soloable. And no asking for a harder solo alternative isn't lazy, it's stupid. But I've got absolutely no problem letting that monkeys paw do it's thing.

A lazy uncompelling argument on loop is still a lazy and uncompelling no matter how often you say it. I stated my opinion, as that is my subjective viewpoint, you need to be convincing to me to change it. As you engaged me and are not succeeding in that...kinda wasting your time of that's all you got to say.

The mission is well made and available to all players who own Final Shape. Alternative sources are not needed and would be detrimental.

My guy, I do everything ain't gotta apologize to me, I've got like 80 of them. You seem to be under the false impression I haven't done it. Lol how would it be detrimental. I've got a system in mind that's already in game that would not only give them that option, but make it positive and give a route to increase drop rates.

That’s the precedent set and followed. It’s the basics of a healthy loot system. Not that Destiny really has a healthy loot system. Rarity is basically non existent. Separate issue though.

I'm a trials guy, I definitely know the rarity argument. Adepts are desireable because their rare not because their that good, And for most loot I'd agree, pretty much any other exotic mission and raid exotic should be the way they are. And if DD could be solod (which it shouldn't) and it was just a skill issue I'd say the same. I don't think the rarity argument can be applied the same way here though, once someone has beaten it (been shared screen through it) they'll get them passively by just doing pale heart stuff. So the rarity will go down passively over time in a way that none of the other rare loot does, like raid or exotic mission exotics, or adepts. Here's what I'm thinking, give it the raid/dungeon triumph drop rate and a title, some to do with light and dark(honestly if it was a title that shifted between two a light themed and a dark themed one thatd be sick). Let's say the title needs 12 triumphs, do 6. Make them soloable but hard, that unlocks world drops And 6 in the mission itself. Every one gives you a chance at double drops in DD till you get the title which guarantees two per DD run. Solos get a route to unlock it solo. Players get a cool totle to chase, can chase the nerfed double drops, and it makes duel destiny the best farm by far. To be clear I don't think they're gonna do this or make it aquirable solo, and honestly I don't care if they do or not, I don't think it needs to be, but they definitely could do it in a way that is good for the loot/rarity economy than bad. Like I said my subjective opinion, I really want a duel title now though.
