Had some left over silver from when I last played so I used it to “boost” a character to end game. It definitely doesn’t do anything. You get prismatic but only 2 supers. So now I’m going through the story hoping it unlocks the rest of it which had I done it in the first place I wouldn’t even need to make this post. Please don’t waste your time “boosting” your other characters I’ve done 2 missions in the story and haven’t gotten a single chest to unlock more prismatic stuff so I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or not but either way what I thought would save me time has now became a giant pain in the -blam!-.

Why waste money to not play the game?

1 RespuestaEveryone paying to not play are getting exactly what they deserve.
-
You just contributed to someone at Bungie getting an order at Zaxby's, congratulations! Why waste $20 on this? Seriously? 😳 I mean, to each his own as far as money goes. But still. I just played as one character on Legendary, and the other two on Normal. The level 20 boost is useless for your other characters at that point. Hopefully you had enough Exotic engrams as well to reset Rahool so you could just buy the new exotics from him. The character boost is a rip-off indeed.

1 RespuestaYou paid to skip the campaign, and you got that. Adventures are not part of the campaign
-
Wow so you skipped it before even playing it once!? * Post campaign you unlock more stuff
-
8 RespuestasThe balance of the unlocks don’t come from campaign
-
If you buy the character skip you do the adventures to get the rest of what you need prismatic wise
-
If you did the campaign skip, you have to get the rest of the supers and grenades and stuff for prismatic from the adventures available near the ghost and postmaster in the pale heart.
-
Why does this surprise you? Bungie lied about everything concerning this DLC and they lied about improving the game in the last "we can do better" video. If they had told you skipping the campaign didn't unlock all of prismatic would anyone pay for it? If they had told everyone the exotic class items were locked behind "cooperative focus" and that the weekly campaign missions were "cooperative focus" how many people would have refunded or not purchased? Everything Bungie promised since they fell 45% short of projections has been a lie solely to boost sales of a subpar DLC, and they are already paying the price in a rapidly declining playerbase.

The fact that this developer used it as bait to sell LF and just so happened to forget to mention in their TWAB that you had to pay for it before they released LF should have been a clue for you to do your research before purchasing it.
-
1 RespuestaAll prismatic unlocks are account wide. You aren’t getting anything because they are already unlocked. The only thing that isn’t unlocked is the super unless you skipped campaign.

Editado por Guardian, Archon Of Light: 7/6/2024 6:29:58 AMIf you buy character or season pass skips I have some ocean front property in South Dakota to sell you , at a great price You are paying to skip like an hour of gameplay
-
I used my silver to get on with existing content where the price of entry/power level has increased

Editado por Epic ways: 7/6/2024 4:34:40 AMThere’s a youtube videos out that show what exactly you’ll get for buying the character booster and some youtubers actually went in some details about it. It’s more of a Buyer’s Beware. I almost was tempted due to tedious work until I did my research. It was either spend $20 to skip the normal story plus no exotic or do the whole story on Legend again and get the exotic and most of the prismatic.

Editado por Ketogenic_Guardian: 7/6/2024 5:03:40 AMPlus on my third character that I purchased the boost on I was already on the final mission I just did not have time to finish it because I had other responsibilities outside of gaming that I needed to take care of and I did not want to hold off my progress on my third character for the paleheart

It's just like the assassin's creed boost pack for resources it has its uses it's not for everyone but some people who just don't want to work on 3 characters or they don't have time to do -blam!- like that it's good to have the option to boost another character.. That's my reason why I purchased the boost on my third character I just did not have the time to work on the campaign on my third character Because I do have a life outside of destiny...

Editado por Bruce: 7/5/2024 11:57:27 PMYou also don't get your 2nd and 3rd character's exotics. So you basically have to RANK up Rahool to tier 3 focusing AND spend 4 Exotic Ciphers to get them. Definitely regret purchasing
-
Dude. I bought it too for my hunter, and for what? How does it make any sense that the aspects I’ve already unlocked need to be unlocked for prismatic AFTER I paid for it. What a complete waste of money lol. They got me. But never again. If I cared enough I would go through the trouble of getting a refund on principle alone. I felt completely conned.
-
You just paid to skip a campaign you paid for. And you're just figuring this out now?
-
Do the adventures in the pale heart tower. That's what's supposed to unlock the rest of the kit.
