It's outlier protection unless you're quite literally bottom like 1% there is no matchmaking system it's just whoever is trying to matchmake or any active games.

1 RespuestaHere is my experience.... * Seems solo Matchmaking is designed with the goal of getting players winning 50% of the time. I played 30 matches today, won 18 of them * It often starts me in a game mid match giving me no chance to win though

When it comes to pvp I stopped caring about winning and just focused on farming kills in trials or iron banner.

It is so funny in this comment feed how many people think that taking away sbmm for cbmm is going to immediately mean that the other team is going to be 100% of the time a bunch of really good players and the fear is like some monty python "she's a witch!" level of stupid. its like no dude the lobbies will be random and in that randomness you will get an understanding for the average player skill level of the game instead of being sheltered from it until you step into comp or trials and get obliterated while your teammates are usually toxic towards you or leave because the base regular game mode didn't prepare you for any other form of pvp it rather just manipulated you to play more. I am very against sbmm for this reason though in our day and age there are a lot of willful sheeple so i can understand those being for it.

5 RespuestasIt makes sense for iron banner to be SBMM. With enough CBMM thrown in to keep things running decent. Quickplay should be CBMM with enough SBMM to keep 3.0s away from the newbies. Then comp should be rank based and trials should be win based. Not sure which part of this doesn’t make sense. Iron banana isn’t supposed to be matching you up against cannon fodder.

1 RespuestaIm not too fussed about sbmm, but more about slotting the matchmaking itself. I've ran several games where the stacks are together on a team and the solos are on one. Did they not make it so solos/duos will be spread out evenly?
