All right we've already established that this is not the most well-liked activity. Especially considering that this requires quite a bit of communication and practice before you can actually get this quest done. In short, this isn't a quest anyone (especially a casual player) can simply finish without considerable effort. For Bungie to completely ignore the communities frustration with this quest, and instead nerf a bug which made the activity a bit more worth it. I feel is tone death and unnecessary. I've already said my peace on what I think this quest should have been If Bungie wants the casual players to slow down with the complaints, but I'll say it one last time. "Remove the timer"
Give people a chance to think during the mission instead of having them restart the entire activity when they make a time sensitive mistake. I'm all for the concept of a timer in a harder difficulty of the mission.. but putting this as the default variant of this mission, in my opinion this thins the line as to how many people will actually want to attempt this activity.
Making this a multiplayer quest was already very odd decision considering the exotic has no additional effect with multiple players like the Rat King. The Rat King quest made perfect sense as to why you needed multiple players because the exotic itself synergizes with multiple people. While the new exotic class items are very powerful they primarily affect the user who has them equipped. So in my personal opinion, the new exotic quest does not make any sense to me. It should have been a solo quest where we make use of our new prismatic abilities combining light and dark to solve puzzles on our own. And considering they tried something new with this solo destination. It would only have made sense for them to create most of the exotic missions solo friendly. But apparently not..
But my personal gripes aside.. this mission is already difficult enough for some. Making the rewards less enticing is not the correct move. Bungie did a great job with this expansion but I do not personally agree with some of the new exotic quest designs. A complete overhaul might be much, but I think some type of change to the difficulty (specifically the timer) would be well received.

3 Respuestas
All right we've already established that this is not the most well-liked activity.
Please don't speak for others. There's a lot of players that really like the mission and it's mechanics. Nothing wrong with putting in some effort for a new exotic item. "Remove the timer"
Half the players likes the timer. Half the players don't. Why don't you let others have fun too? There are so little activities with any kind of challenge in the game. Bungie really shouldn't make this one more trivial than it already is. The average player isn't supposed to beat it on the first try. With every try you learn something new and get a bit further. And after some runs the whole mission will go by on autopilot. Also not everything has to be designed for Solos. Destiny is an online multiplayer game and should offer content designed for groups of players here and there. A clear is about 20-22 minutes. The classitem has a 2% droprate from random chests and opening 50 chests is faster than 20 minutes. Just make the mission drop 2 class items. People who enjoy it can just farm it and people who don't can farm chests.

3 RespuestasI love the mission. The timer is of no issue. Will run with anyone with a mic. *hunting for my warlock god roll and I like it more than circling chests in the garden.

9 RespuestasThe timer only punishes you if you aren't doing what you're supposed to be doing and there are ways to extend the timer in the mission proper. It doesn't hurt casuals, it hurts bad players.

1 RespuestaUm, I beat it first try going in blind with a guy from LFG, and I basically never play PVP (granted, we had 3 seconds left at the end...). I used my PVP loadout the whole time, which consists of a scout rifle, sidearm, and LMG. If someone like me can beat the mission, then it isn't that hard, and I don't understand the griping about difficulty. The hardest part was finding the energy to play PVE in general
-
3 RespuestasSeriously, this mission is not as hard as you guys makes it out to be. Me and my friend went in blind and we did it on our first try. My friend barely plays the game and for the symbols, he had to look up a google picture of them. I am convinced that the only reason to why the mission is this disliked, is because people for some reason blindly follows everything these Streamer and Youtubers says. So before the dlc even dropped, they made videos about the class items, hyping them up to an unrealistic level. So people were going nuts for them and wanted it as soon as possible. When they found out that they would have to put in just a little bit of effort to get it and that it wasn't a end of the campaign reward. All hell broke lose. I honestly cannot see people freaking out this much over to just having to play with another person in a multiplayer game.

2 RespuestasIt is an easy mission, if you have a friend that you play with frequently. Familiarity and synergy has always trumped over joining randoms over and over again. So get a friend, fool them to buy the DLC and play with ya.

21 RespuestasI think it’s fine as is.

2 RespuestasHuge bump and agree But Bungie won't listen or learn until MORE players leave and quit playing IF more players stop playing mission, stop logging into game, and stop buying eververse then Bungie will make changes.
-
6 RespuestasTHANK YOU! I’m glad someone finally said it. Please make sure you also paste this everywhere so bungie can see it. Everywhere on social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Bungie needs to seriously look at this mission.

1 RespuestaI would not mind at all if they put a solo option with an overhaul to the mechanics, but then it should be much more difficult. Did the quest yesterday for the first time. The difficulty of enemies was minimal and the mission gave you ample time to complete each section. Getting sent back to orbit sucks but each time you play it only gets easier and you have more time to spend on the more difficult puzzles(such as the clock) After playing yesterday I’m convinced people will only have trouble if they cannot read a clock or slow at counting…as was the case for my partner. But we still got through it with plenty of time.
