D2 is a multi player game.
It says exactly that in its description.
With that said they go out of their way to make most things solo friendly.
I’m running the Dual mission on Sunday.
I’ve been told by several players I know that’s it’s an extremely fun experience.
Sometimes you need to show basic flexibility to do certain things.
BTW I play solo most of the time.
Use LFG, ask a clan member, use Discord or ask here and you will get help to run that mission.
Youre not making any effort on your end so your frustration is self inflicted.
Youre in a clan with 98 other people.
Maybe start there.

No need to have to internet rage for or against, Destiny is not part of human identity. There are worse games out there. Right now, and often, this game has sucked for solo players. Plenty of times it has sucked for multi player, pve or pvp. It’s just an ok game and not amazing and that’s all .

I’m running the Dual mission this Sunday and after a get a few clears I’ve offered to take the OP in to do it. BTW I usually run solo. Playing with others should be expected for certain things.

If you’re a D1 player, it actually included single player experience in the sales pitch…. Kinda makes you wrong.

When Bungie mentioned the dreadnought area is coming back to Destiny, wanna know the first thing that jumped into my head? Farming for materials in that area. Nothing else. Wanna know why? Solo farming

You could put that energy you waste on complaining about it into using LFG or asking a clan mate to help. You simply can’t do certain things solo in either game but don’t let the facts get in the way of a bad argument. You’re in a clan that’s filled with players for a reason lol.

Every argument is…. Destiny was always mmo. You’ve always been playing a multi player game. My answer to that is it no it wasn’t. Many of us came over from Halo which started its life as a single player FPS. FPS games brought me over to halo and halo moved me into the Destiny world. I always found content to play as a solo player. The years I played Destiny, you needed materials to build up anything you did. And to upgrade your weapons you have to play over until it unlocked. None of those things needed multi player. D2 started its life the same way. Now bungie is moving away from that. Now logically if I have YEARS invested farming and grinding this game solo, HOW IN THE HECK IS THAT A MULTI PLAYER EXPERIENCE?

The mission is pretty fun. I was teaching someone as it was my 4th time doing it. I wasn't even the one who did the heavy lifting the 3 times I did it. But then I was able to do it easily because.... It's easy. No darkness zones. Just a timer. Got to the final encounter and it gives us 30 minutes. You can even do the mechanics whike dead. You still see the info you need while on the ground for a bit. This is the most lenient exotic mission we have ever had.
