  • I did it mainly solo and grinding. Did lfg for class exotic. Had LL 2000 in a few weeks. Not hard as a solo player, people just feel entitled.

  • Nobody’s crying lol. If it’s not meant to be solo then why have rewards for completing things solo?

  • It's an always online multiplayer game, I'd get what you were saying if it was advertised as a singleplayer story game, but it ain't...

  • That’s a very faulty argument. The only reason they offer solo rewards and incentivize you to do those activities SOLO is for further challenge cause let’s be honest, a lot of the game if you optimize correctly, isn’t all that hard. Solo players shouldn’t be asking for more solo friendly activities as the game isn’t a SOLO game. It’s a multiplayer with some SOLO activities and SOLO incentives but nevertheless this game is a MULTIPLAYER at its core. This is all coming from a solo player too!

  • I wish I could see more solo focused activities. I bet it would save Destiny 2. Bungie could be open minded about the idea. Instead they go and make a mission that you cannot get into unless you have another player. People have tried fireteam finder and LFG and the amount of toxic players they ended up getting is unbelievable. The reason why there’s so many solo players is because of the toxic players.

  • You got a solo mission this episode. Enigma protocol. And you're going to get another exotic mission that you'll probably be able to solo in act 2 or 3.

  • What is this narrative that you players have that destiny is so called “dying?” I don’t get it and it doesn’t make sense seeing that it’s one of the very few live service games that has managed to stay active in 10 years! No other live service has been able to do that aside from games like Fortnite, so we got to retire this tired narrative cause whether people want to believe it or not, Destiny is doing fine. Now as far as things go with focusing on solo play, that’s a big NO. We keep reiterating the SAME talking points everyday to these entitled solo enthusiasts, THIS IS NOT A SOLO GAME! IF YOU WANT A SOLO GAME, I SUGGEST YOU GO OLAY AN OFFLINE SOLO ORIENTED SHOOTER. We DON’T need more solo activities and if anything, we NEED more focus on team based gameplay that makes players communicate more. The other thing I need this weird sect and mass of players to do is STOP blaming LFG for all THEIR problems. I been in MANY LFGs and not once had a problem from other players. As a matter of fact, I would say the only reason players are calling LFG toxic is because there are requirements that are being placed and a lot of players don’t want to waste their time dealing with inexperienced players. That’s not toxic, that’s just them not wanting to play with you. Are there cases where there’s some toxicity, yes, but those aren’t happening at the rate players overly exaggerate. All in all, we don’t need more focus on SOLO only content, we need more focus on content that allows creativity to flourish in this game and allow for more ways to incentivize Solos to find other solos that want to play together. At that point, you drop the solo title and you just enjoy the game for what it is. By the way, this is all from a solo player that mainly does most content solo unless I feel the need to raid, dungeon, or just goof around.

LFG is being called toxic because players leave after making even one mistake. That leaves the player thinking and feeling like they did something wrong when in reality they were just trying their best. Another reason it’s called toxic is because people with disabilities who cannot talk in a way that people find normal, when in reality it is normal, they start picking fun at them every chance they get. One more reason it is called toxic is because if you don’t have a good build you automatically get bullied and kicked. It’s not like I’m saying get rid of the multiplayer activities. I’m saying add more solo focused activities or even activities that don’t require communication. It would NOT take away from the multiplayer activities. Everybody would win. Solos would have a safe place. Multiplayer people would have people to play with. EVERYBODY WINS.

  • Bruh, at the 3 things you just listed, only 1 of them I can see being a valid thing but I wouldn’t call that being toxic. That’s literally a barrier which is an issue to communication which we ALL know is vital to a raid or a dungeon. As for the other two, I’ll address them and tell you why they aren’t toxic. Your first point about making a mistake and leaving being toxic, bruh I’m sure you understand this but people have limited time and people aren’t trying to play with inexperienced players. I understand that leaving after one mistake seems mean, but you don’t know the amount of time THEY have or HOW LONG they might have been trying to do a portion of that specific piece of content. That’s not mean, that’s pretty normal and has always been a staple in ANY activity you participate in. Finally on that point, if you join a LFG that’s asking you to have experience or know what to do and they’re kind enough to accept you but you make a mistake or two, that’s on YOU, not them. You joined under the notion that you knew what was up so you kind of set yourself up on that end. Okay, now your point about not having a good build, you’re just 100% wrong on that one. You shouldn’t be AT ALL LFGing ANY content that’s endgame related if you have a subpar build that doesn’t put out damage, control ads, help with survival, or at the bare minimum support your team in some function. At this time in Destiny, there’s no reason you can’t have optimal builds with the way this game gives you access to building now. If you don’t understand building then you can get on YT and look up videos on how to build. I literally just got my friends back on the game and got them setup with builds that aren’t just optimal but they’re fun and encourage the play style they like to play. If you want to run endgame, you have to have endgame viable builds, that’s just how it works and has ALWAYS worked not only in Destiny, but other MMOs as well so that’s a really bad point. Your point about disabilities is probably your only viable argument as I understand playing with people that speak other languages. Hell I raided with a guy that only spoke Japanese and his English was bad but because of text chat and me leading a pretty chill group, we got him through farming golgoroth in the Pantheon gauntlet and he was thankful for it. But I do get your point there and do believe that is a bit unfair but I wouldn’t call it toxic as language barriers exist.

  • Honestly the only reason why I’d love more solo focused activities or even better activities like strikes where you don’t have to communicate. But the problem with strikes is other players. Theres so many toxic players, it’s unbelievable. It’s why most of the community is solo players. It’s almost as if they try to be as toxic as possible so they can feel good about themselves.

What are your concerns? Do you have 3 characters? There's a reason I ask the 2nd question...

  • Okay, why do you need to get to pinnacle cap? And Previous to the changes... you had to level each character individually. Now you don't. You might be short literally only 1-2 Pinnacle drops vs the old system and both your characters level at once. So, the same efficacy as before... in half the time. If you make another character (that will automatically be at level parity) there's actually more drops for 1/3 of the time it used to demand. Before you leveled 2 characters, right? Now you're leveling 1 account using 2 characters. I'm leveling 1 account using 3 characters. That's better for everyone. But wait, there's more... Primes give pinnacle progress +1. From your lowest account gear slot score from hard cap to pinnacle cap. And those drops are virtually unlimited.
