There are many different people who play Destiny: Those who try things, wipe, get mad vent and never learn. Those who try things, wipe often, realize what they need to change and adapt in order to get what they really want. Those whom watch internet guides so that they get a rough idea of what to do and get through it. (i.e. learning has occured). Those who have so much time they can do anything from practice. I wanted to do the final mission on legendary with guardians on LFG. Ended up having to do it solo because they will screw up and blame you for it.🤣 LFG is for people who want to be carried and not work along side you. I’ve tried it and people give up too fast. They die and automatically leave. 🤣

My honest opinion, get your power level over 1990. Not trying to be insulting here, but signing up for a 2005 mission when just over 1960 (with artifact power) says you arent ready for the task, and players that would accept you are either not up to the task themselves, or strive to help less experienced guardians through content. Your current power level on Titan, being your highest character, tells me that you ran the campaign on normal rather than legend. Which tells me that it would be a difficult run through the mission even as a sherpa/guide, as there are plenty of parts where each player is separate and needs to slay out a bit to do their part and reunite on plates. There is fireteam power, which could help, but in LFG players judge very quickly who they are going to run with based on the indicators that they have, and early in a season power level is one of them (some pull up stats too). Basically what this means, is that you are going to be scraping the barrel with players who would choose to run with you. Others who have lower power level, less experience, and basically leaves you shorthanded for the mission and doomed to fail. After I get a couple more runs through the mission and learn the route a bit better, I plan to do LFG runs to help lower power level guardians through, but I dont feel that I am at that point yet, especially in the clock encounter.

Are you smokin some good -blam!- or what? The exotic class item wasn’t even talked about or anything in any of the promo material for the expansion. If you didn’t watch twitch you wouldn’t have even known it was coming. Screw all that anyway they don’t have to tell you how a piece of loot is obtained. You people are sad for real. I work 50 hours a week and have no issue getting everything done. If you don’t have the time then maybe an mmo isn’t for you. Go play a single player game.

On light.gg only about 2 to 4 percent of people even get this exotic class item lol not even 10 percent got it.

Have you considered watching a video to understand the basics of the mission, or would you rather cry about LFG posts asking for competent players? Better yet, make your own port and do a blind run with other people who cry about LFGs.

it's clear that bungie needs to address this. if they change or add a way to earn it is beside the point. but hiding there head in the sand don't make the issues surrounding this particular mission go away. at the very least they should say to bad your screwed. sorry we took your money.

I haven’t played since the weekend and I intend to get the exotic class item. I just have to ask ONE person to play. So guess what I’m going to do?? I’m going to go in blind and enjoy it with someone that wants to do the same. If you are angry you are too lazy to find one person or expect to be carried by an experienced player. If I can do it with a baby and working 50 hours a week, you can also do it. I believe in you.

The class items are only really necessary in content that, if you work as much as you’re saying, you wouldn’t be able to play anyway.

I promise if the mission is too big of a hurdle for you to jump then you probably don't even need the class item for what you do in the game

Maybe, just maybe Bungie caters to the majority of their player base and solo/no mic players make up 1% of that pool?? Also, Bungie has never advertised that any of their content is or isn’t achievable solo. You made that assumption. And considering you made that assumption regarding a game that only advertised as a live, online multiplayer that intended to be played with friends/co-op - I’d say this is a clear cut case of the old saying about assumptions.

I work 14 hours a day and while I’m not handicapped (physically at least) I’ll make do just fine. I wasn’t able to day one unlike I typically do and that’s fine I’ll day 12 it. People need to realize it is impossible to make content for EVERYONE so as a business with limited resources you make content for the majority and try to be inclusive but this isn’t always perfect. Voice your concerns but stop -blam!-.
