If I see another person complain about the new exotic mission, I swear...
Seriously. Those of you who are crying about how awful it is that the new exotic class item mission requires two people - get a bloody grip. Grow up. It is one of the best designed missions we've seen yet. It's fun. It's challenging. But it's not very hard. The timer is forgiving. I'm an aggressively antisocial introvert, but that doesn't mean I'm missing out on any content. You have to adapt.
Fun fact. Destiny is NOT a solo based game. It never has been, and it never will be. Since the beginning of this franchise, destiny was about public spaces, community, LFG, group activities, etc. Just because you WANT to play everything solo doesn't mean you can. If you are refusing to team up, that's fine. Have it your way and miss out on this content. That is up to you. Or ... you can grow tf up and stop whining. It's embarrassing that THIS is what is setting you lot off.
I don't have many friends irl. As I said, I'm an introvert. Aggressively. But I still learn to work with/communicate with others. If you're not willing to break out of that shell. That's on you.

You will be swearing then. Bungie made no mention of requiring people to be in a group when advertising for this DLC exotic class item. Not to mention that a mic is required. The mission is timed so typing is not a good means of communication. Bungie should have made these requirements clear.

6 RespuestasYou swear what? just because you can overcome something others can't doesn't make you better, It is a cool mission yes but a game that is heavily based on 3 players to put in a mission that is in an area for 3 players just to let 2 of you do it is an absolute garbage idea. Here is an idea, if this is bothering you that much maybe you should step away from the forums, the game, the internet and go see the sky and the grass if what other people are upset about isn't affecting you in any manner but yet obviously is, you have bigger problems.

2 RespuestasReally all they need to do is just add base matchmaking to everything beyond raids. People generally know the activity drills. New content is still being learned, of course, but people can still communicate with base matchmaking, should the need arise, without all the extra pain in the -blam!- work of trying to deal with LFG and all the nonsense there. Everyone learns, so that's not as big a deal as people make it out to be. People just hate matchmaking because they have no desire to learn patience in the activities. LFG isn't better, its just different. LFG is a good option to have beyond assembling actual friends [i](no such thing as internet "friends")[/i] but it shouldn't be the [i]only[/i] option for anything. Both can exist within the game and matchmaking realm. One puts the activity control in the player's hands, the other removes player activity control. One deals with griefers, the other deals with those that abandon. Can't win with horrible people beyond eliminating them, so it gives chance options that would greatly help accessibility, and we deal with either side we feel is more feasible, or have more luck with. I'll take those that abandon over griefers any day, though I still generally hate them both. I don't know why people think only one or the other can exist at one time and place.

A huge batch of pointless exaggerations, threats of quitting, demands to ruin a good activity, because they are incapable of using LFG and text chat. There are so many things Bungie deserves criticism for and these people chose the most nonsensical thing possible, an activity playing exactly into the identity of the game and improving it by breaking the classic repetitive chain of "add clear, boss, repeat" in lower tier content. This community is more embarrassing than the Battlefield community - that one suspects cheats at basic recoil control. Funnily enough, Ive not seen a single good argument against this activity yet, that wasnt directly connected to individual personal issues of the player complaining. Look at this post alone: "who cares what you think", "wahawahwah", "you lack awareness", "raid like mechanics have no place outside of raids" [huge laughter right there] ...
