Yep, this one and the gambit one for banking motes seem to be super buggy not correctly tracking the progress.
I was on my solar titan, with pyrogale, dragonbreath, and a pulse rifle with incandescent, and took forever to complete this challenge.

Same. I get no progress with Deposit Motes & Proof of Ability. The Pathfidner Ritual system needs to be scrapped, if all it's gonna do is be bugged all the time.
