Bungie actually killed pvp

Played exactly 100 pvp games between yesterday and today and it was quite possibly the most frustrating and obnoxious experience. They actually rewound time and brought us back to Vanilla D2. SMGs are dominant, there's almost no point in using any other primary weapon, because if you don't have any special you can barely beat the smg player. You have to make sure you have ALOT of distance between you and them. And that's only in rumble matches, in 6v6 everyone is holding hands now. There is no more "1v1" in Crucible. It's all about team shooting now. Plus every smg player is crouch spamming, so it makes hard af to hit their heads. It usually just ends up in either a trade or they win the gunfight with just a smidge of health. As if they could make PvP worse. Everything that they did was understandable, EXCEPT for the fact that they reduced body shot damage across ALL weapons and increased health on ALL GUARDIANS. This just makes it so that the TTK (Time To Kill) is higher now. They just danced around the idea of increasing the TTK, without actually saying that they were gonna do it because it would cause an outrage in the pvp community. And now as someone that ACTUALLY plays Trials/Crucible, it's probably the worse thing to happen to pvp over all. Bungie WILL lose the pvp community if this doesn't change. That is a promise, because there is no way people who genuinely enjoy pvp think that this was a good change. Less ability spam? Sure. Less special ammo? Even better. Smg crutching basement dwellers and decreased body shot damage? Absolutely not Sincerely an angry GamerGod

  • PvP’s great. Just returned to D2 after 4 months, for Guardian Games. PvP is on high! Health pool is increased, and you feel more rewarded for hitting crits. The problem with PvP is spoiled people like you, who start crying to father Bungie when they don’t cater to your every need.
