Adepts have always been nothing but flex. They have 1% advantage over normal versions. With this change, that is removed. The flex part is gone. They serve no purpose now.

Is there a problem with that when it comes to a videogames. Where getting stronger/better loot to make the game easier to play the content you enjoy. Loot becoming better in general shouldn't be a problem. The ability to build up to the farms for that good loot is what shouldn't serve to stop people from trying. Honestly when it comes to destiny it is either get loot or not get loot when attempting an activity. You get nothing but lost time for failing and you get bad to ok loot most of the time for success. The game either needs a partial reward system for attempting or to make one success worth a number of failed attempts which it currently does neither.
