I’m a PvP player, but mostly stopped playing destiny PvP over the last year, and PvE just isn’t that fun for me usually. But these changes really are great! Artifice armor from comp, the trials changes were really good, outlier protection for sixes sound amazing, and a bunch of other stuff. The only things I don’t love are checkmate in regular sixes, but we still have to wait and see how it plays more since the changes, including the bow nerfs. And I just feel like there should be more ways to get upgrade materials like enhancement prisms and ascendant shards from PvP. Doing a GM or master NF in around 10-30 minutes pretty consistently is much easier than going flawless, which takes 7 wins at the least, and it’s the only source of ascendant shards in PvP, and it’s only available on the weekends, and not during IB weeks. I feel like there’s already plenty of places for ascendant alloys, and I dunno about everyone else, but I rarely need them. I just want ascendant shards to make more builds, and you can’t do that too much from PvP. Swapping the alloy reward out for a shard from comp would be nice, and giving comp a small chance to drop ascendant shards on wins after doing the challenge for the shard that week would be good. And it increases in chance in higher ranks. This would allow much more build crafting for PvP players, and that keeps the game fresh and keeps players engaged.

5 RespuestasFor a PVP player, this TWID may be ok, but it is the lack of PVE focus that has cost them so much this year. 45% miss in expected revenue! 100+ devs laid off Lead developer leaving the company I would say the lack of making the core game GOOD is going to cost them the game altogether. TFS may be great but they turned off too many players and many will not return. This season was their last chance to make some big strides in turning this game around before TFS. Then we get these stupid wish quests that are mostly bounty worthy activities that are 100% recycled.

Bungie is great at talking but we all know their talk and what actually happens are often two different things. I just don’t see them bringing health or balance to PVP, not the current group anyway.

It was trash.

2 RespuestasI agree on your Ascendant Shard take. When I was just a little noob, it was very difficult to get stuff to masterwork armor. Took me probably about 3 seasons just to get a fully masterworked set. Ascendant Shards should drop on each reset to begin with. Then, I think there should be a daily kill objective for PvP. Every time you complete a Tier, you get another harder one. So for example: 1st Tier - 10 points earns 3 Enhancement Cores 2nd Tier - 20 points earns 1 Exotic Engram 3rd Tier - 30 points earns 3 Enhancement Prisms 4th Tier - 40 points earns 1 Ascendant Shard 3v3 and Rumble game mode kills grant 2 points (Trials and Comp grant 1 additional point), 6v6 game mode kills grant 1 point. This would help players to stay engaged every day in PvP. Some players only go into PvP for the weekly comp objectives and then leave until the next reset. This would keep players coming back every day and keep them playing for an extended period of time.

1 RespuestaThey can put great rewards in pvp but unless they fix the cheating problem, people will still not want to play it much.

1 Respuesta“I’m a pvp player…” so why are you playing Destiny?

1 RespuestaIf you haven't played trials, it's 3 separate pools with the sweatiest players in 3 stacks, then 2 stacks, then solo is ok. So good luck trying to help your buddy or anyone go flawless now because the 3 separate pools are trash unless you love being a loner

1 RespuestaDid they mention anything about dealing with bad spawns or cheating. Or what about some dedicated servers.

This community is in an abusive relationship with a video game, imagine being impressed af because Bungie lets you change radar color, when the patch drops and the hamsters realize they are lured to the least populated mode with the most cheaters they'd cry again and pacified by the next twab of absolute insignificant updates, this forum is the online fantasy novel of a sadist high school girl

1 RespuestaNow on PC the High Impact pulse rifles need a nerf. With the crap code this game is on they shouldnt be the most free 2 burst.
