Make Mayhem Permanent!
I only want to play Mayhem in this game. Especially with the changes coming in March. Make Mayhem a permanent node so players who dont want to play Checkmate can play something fun, with ability spam.
This game will never be balanced unless all abilities are removed and all weapon perks stripped off. Im done playing PvE, and have no interest in checkmate PvP. Currently, I mostly only play during Mayhem weeks now, its the only time I have fun in the game anymore.
In all honesty, D3 should have been made with the sandbox shift when Stasis was introduced. Its too much for D2 to handle and "try" to balance. Its steadily gone downhill since that time for me, and what I loved in this game was removed to make space for stuff that I dont enjoy. With all of the friends and clanmates that I had leave the game because of these changes, it would have been better to start with a clean slate and see how many prefer the new over the old. You removed 40% of the game, and what was given is completely different in vision to what was before and not what I want to play.
So, now I just want Mayhem. That is all that I have left which is fun to me in this game.

Mayhem is the only PVP mode in Destiny that is actually... fun. That somewhat reminds me of the good old days in Halo 1-Reach playing Big Team Heavies. The constant chaos and explosions definitely evoke those memories. Yes. I'd love Mayhem to be permanent.

8 RespuestasHonestly the only fun gamemodes for PvP is Mayhem and Scorch. They are just so fun to mess around in. Current PvE has been so dull with the ability nerfs that I just want to relive the good days of D1 with Obsidian Mind or even back when stuff like Shards and Skull gave a full 100% super refund rather than this 50% limit. When will Bungie learn that people have more fun just messing around than doing content with things being so strict.

2 RespuestasMeh, mayhem isn’t actually fun anymore. Every game has unlimited stasis turrets shutting everyone down, or six gunslingers constantly using golden gun, or a shutdown super flying at you out of respawn.

Buff roaming supers first Mayhem sucks because it's dominated by panic supers

1 RespuestaThe only people who are against this are elitists and sweats tbh, because they know they'd mainly be playing against other sweats. When I still played, Mayhem and Iron banner were the only pvp I'd bother to touch.

I never understood why they can't give options? I get that the playerbase will be divided, but if ppl love checkmate, cool, that's no problem. If players like to ability spam or have a mixture of both cool, there should be options. I know I'll be one of the few who will not step in pvp after I get w.e it is I might want. After that, I really don't care for it. They screw around way too much with pvp. And if they ever go in the right direction and do something for once, I promise you they will eff it up again. It's only a matter of time. They just need enough to reel you in, then "BAM" all patches to what make pvp a bit appealing, goes put the window

Absolutely. I honestly love Mayhem, I kind of wish we had a recurring event themed around it like Iron Banner with Control

I see myself more as a competitive player but i 100% agree with this. It is actually fun enough to have it as a permanent playlist

Mayhem is definitely a mode that needs to stay, it would satisfy the casuals with their one shots and ability spam. Ill stay happy playing checkmate, this way everyone wins

They really should just keep it all up. I don't enjoy Mayhem, but I know alot of people do. Well, I suppose I do like to indulge once in a rare while. I don't see anything wrong with keeping it in rotation. I'm sure its a really nice change of pace for most.
