I have all the coil I need for the seasonal title and I've seen a total of 3. Not killed, seen.
I'd rather wrestle with blueberries over ruffian spawns. Ì just want 2 more for the seasonal challenge but it feels like I'll solo a GM sooner.
-blam!- stupid.
Edit: thanks for tips, -blam!- you to anyone else. When I say I've only seen 3, it's true. The "omg a glass collector" message has only popped up those 3 times, followed almost immediately by the one that says he's gone. I've only done matchmade, so I assume it's throttle monkeys chasing him off.

4 RespuestasEditado por Ray: 2/13/2024 6:25:48 PMSkill issue They spawn EVERY TIME. Always in the 2nd or 3rd pathway, and they ALWAYS spawn right in front of you. There’s also text indicating they spawn Pay attention

There is one that spawns every run , so you have missed some They spawn has soon has someone enters a jar collection area, so try to keep up with the blueberries

1 RespuestaGlass Collectors? So Bungie ripped off crystal lizards, loot trolls, kappas, etc? Like man, I know the raised the difficulty because of Elden Ring's popularity, but just make a soulslike Bungie. An FPS doesn't work here!

13 RespuestasEditado por Kiro - 13: 2/13/2024 5:27:25 PMThey have a 100% spawn rate, the reasoning why you are not seeing them is one of 2. 1.) Your teammates are pushing forward and despawning the glass collector 2.) You are bad at the game & not capable of chasing down the glass collector and killing it before it despawns. Judgeing by your dungeon, raid, GM and PvP reports its the latter. Destiny 2 is not for casuals, its either your fireteam or your family. You voluntarily gave up on your mental health the moment you downloaded the game and agreed to its end user license agreement.

I had to do solo runs to get all 3 as usually I am too slow, but thankfully the Coil does scale to Fireteam size so it's not too difficult to solo the 1st three runs, and repeat as many times as needed. Just remember to have some rockets or a super on hand before going through the portal so you can kill it quickly.

2 RespuestasFrom my experience, there's always one per run, but they're sneaky!! They need to be killed immediately. Otherwise, they'll probably flee. Commonly, they will appear during round 3, but I've seen them round 2 as well (never 1 or 4, but that's not to say they don't). From my experience, they'll spawn as soon as a player hops through the portal* (mid round possibly, I can't remember if they can appear immediately upon round start)... so if you're going in 10 seconds after the first person, then the glass collector has probably already made a run for it. Easiest ones to get are the taken light pools (luck), as there is a clearer line of sight, the vex traps section can be irritating as things can get in the way of your sights + I'm not sure I've seen any in the scorn poison area... my focus is immediately where the traps/objectives are for that one, so I'm never paying good enough attention on this one. *it's possible that it spawns immediately after killing the first boss... so get your guns ready and leg it through the portal asap!!!

Yeah, I've seen the message "he's gone" more times than I've actually seen one, lol. You really have to go after him as soon as you enter the area. Once he spawns in, he's hauling -blam!- to get back out. I got mine after realizing what I needed to do. Also, it was early when the activity launched and most people needed them.

Yup, it's to keep us from achieving the triumph so we will return to try again, over and over again. Stupid Bungie logic. It's a lame triumph and I don't care. Not sure why anyone would.

Don't collect anything at the very start of a 2nd or 3rd pathway because the text will get overwritten & you won't know they even spawned until they are about to get away.
-
Go solo. Your problem is certainly linked to the players you’re matched with. Tbh you might have been with players like me who used to rush to the intersections to make sure I would kill him and guarantee platinum.
-
Go solo and don’t waste any time at the start of the encounter. They spawn and start running. There’s always one.Keep trying.

4 RespuestasMaybe spend less time picking upgrades and you might see more. They spawn in the same place in each path so you know where to look, if not watch a video If you only need the collector make sure you save heavy and have it ready when you enter the pathway
