If you're going on about Phoenix Cradle then you're doing the wrong thing for them.
They have to be obtained from completing the Shadowkeep campaign first.

OK, thank you but how the -blam!- have exotics from CAMPAIGNS LATER been put in the loot pool but -blam!- shadowkeep ones haven't 🤣 and I'm expected to know this lol

the tooltip in-game tells you the source is from the Shadowkeep campaign. WQ and LF gave lost sector exotics as a reward for doing the legendary campaign - they weren't locked to the campaign itself

Point to where in game it specifically tells me phoenix Cradle is obtained in a SPECIAL UNIQUE way unlike all the other class exotics, through Lost Sectors? They even now guide new players down that path to get their class exotics.
