A lot of weapons in the game are hitscan... meaning it's a damage script with animated bullets... Some of them are projectile based, meaning the bullets are assets... Most are governed by the Cones system... which is exactly what you think 2 cones extending from muzzle of every weapon. Most GLs are projectile based arc trajectory weapons... Mountain Top is hit scan, Wave frames are hit scan... the rest are not. Aiming a breach/heavy GL is fundamentally different... each ammo type has different physics respective the grenade. Some bounce... some stick. These dynamics impact the angle you aim from. The angle with the physics of the projectile determines the loft, distance, and speed to impact... an arcing tragectory. 2. All breach and heavy GLs have active triggers/delayed triggers. All GLs have a direct hit activation... proximity nades detonate within a threshold distance of a target.
